Matt has over 18 years experience selling Enterprise software and consulting services.
Most recently Matt was an Enterprise Account Executive for InterWorks. InterWorks is Tableau Software's longest standing consulting partner. While at InterWorks he was responsible for driving revenue in the Pacific Northwest, including managing the company's largest enterprise account. In 2018 he generated over $5m in revenue selling InterWorks consulting services and software products, and reselling Tableau Software.
Prior to InterWorks, Matt held Sales Leadership and Account Executive positions for SAAS startups in Portland, Oregon such as Zapproved, Nouvola, and Zembula. This is where Matt developed his process for "sales growth hacking" by utilizing cutting edge Sales Software to automate top of funnel sales activities. He was responsible for enterprise accounts wins with Nike, Staples, Cesar’s Entertainment, Best Western, The Marriott, and Verizon.
Before his experience in Portland, Matt, a native New Yorker spent 10 years selling in New York City and the surrounding areas. He started out his career in 2002 at BlueWolf Group which was Salesforce.com's first consulting partner. He was hired as a Sales Development rep and developed a process to support Enterprise sales reps at Salesforce.com in the northeast before being promoted to an Account Executive.BlueWolf was acquired by IBM for $200m in 2016.
Matt's last role in New York City was as a territory Account Executive for Thomson Reuters (Governance, Risk & Compliance division) where he was one of over 100 sales reps. Thomson Reuters has over 60,000 employees globally with revenue exceeding $5b annually.
