Unfortunately an “older before his time” veteran in the field of geekiness and all things “strategy”; factor in that when I was born the obstetrician proclaimed I had an “old soul”.
Since I am also cursed with a pinch of creativity and a lot of restlessness, marcomms won me over a librarian’s career.
I entered specialised international consumer research a boy and many years and 33 countries later I left it man enough to join the exciting world of advertising.
Internally they call me “your excellence”, not because of illusions of grandeur but rather because my role is to be the ambassador of both the brand as well as the consumer, since my thinking and creative direction starts here.
That is why I take things really personally – I care about designing strategy that will be the most effective and rewarding to the client’s objectives, always with a clear sense of long term aspirations.
But above all I am a father of a 2 year old daughter, who is the boss of me...

For 7 years has travelled in over 30 countries managing accounts for the largest international companies, with the goal of understanding local cultures as well as creating, developing and localising strategy (marketing, communications, business).
On a local as well as international level amongst the most personally inspiring accounts that he has been involved in were Activision, UKTV, TCCC, Heineken Group, Vodafone, McDonald’s, BAT, JTI, P&G, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, FrieslandCampina, Unilever, Nokia, Volvo, 3E and many more.
For years a member of the Censydiam Institute (Centre for Systematic Diagnostics in Marketing), based in Antwerp (Belgium) & the University of Gent, he has had the opportunity to gain great experience as well as training in the field of consumer psychology.
