With more than 20 years in the industry, I’ve launched companies and products, advised senior executives, handled crises and shaped, built and protected brands and reputations.
What’s more my own business experience includes launching, managing and marketing some of the strongest agencies of their time.
First and foremost, I come at any communications challenge by first really understanding the business objectives and working from there.
I have helped businesses drive change and respond to it. I have helped build and protect reputation and campaign for new ways of doing things.
I like to work with ambitious people and organisations, whether innovators or entrepreneurs, big brands, government or industry bodies, from bold start-ups to the FTSE-100.
I understand the agency and client worlds. I can respond quickly and hit the ground running and I understand the issues and the operating environment.
Those characteristics have flowed through an impressive list of organisations I’ve helped from

• from online leaders to business services
• from technology to business travel
• creative industries to behaviour change campaigns.
Meanwhile, I helped shape two of the leading communications agencies of their generations.
I built the corporate affairs team at the digitally-led communications agency Brands2Life.
Before that I helped create the Fishburn Hedges Group and as marketing director helped blend the offer across corporate and consumer PR, public affairs, internal communications, digital and social and design.
Earlier still, I set up and ran the FH Group's consumer agency Seventy Seven PR.
