My story starts with the humble chipset. Working as a design engineer at Bharat Electronics I realized how the chipset was a beautiful metaphor for the working of an organization, the different cohorts of an organization interacting and working together just like the bridges of a chipset. As I moved from design engineering into assembly level engineering at Honeywell, I shifted my attitude to focus on the interconnections that hold the “chipset” together.
Since childhood, I’ve been an entrepreneur at heart. Founding Bubble Wrap marked the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, and allowed me to explore a creative niche. Badlo India was my second endeavor in the entrepreneurial sphere, and it allowed me to get hands-on experience working in an Indian context. Through Badlo India, I learned the power of connection in entrepreneurship, the real-time challenges of people management, and the strength of a sales outlook in growing one’s career.
While testing the entrepreneurial waters, I continued to work at HP. During my years at HP as Chief of Staff, I understood the true power of narrating the story of an organization - where business and technology meet. I was able to further explore and utilize the power of the story during my time at GE as a leader in the analytics field. I took the learnings from my entrepreneurial pursuits and my corporate experiences and joined Microsoft in a role specifically created for me. It was here that I continued to deepen my sales and solution-oriented outlook.
I once again took the plunge into the entrepreneurial world to create Attitude Makeover. I’ve infused Attitude Makeover with the rich wisdom of my own journey in relaunching. With Attitude Makeover I seek to provide all those that aspire to break out of the rat race, those that are lost in their journey of relaunching, and leaders looking for transformation in their cohort, a community that supports, learns, and thrives together.
People say change is hard. In my journey, full of changes big and small, I’ve learnt that once you start changing you won’t want to stop. And that change starts with an Attitude Makeover.
