I am a Human Resources Specialist with experience starting from May 2021 to the present. In my role, I handle various HR responsibilities to ensure smooth operations within the organization. This includes processing employment applications, coordinating and monitoring pre-employment credentialing, and maintaining up-to-date new hire paperwork.
I am involved in the onboarding process, conducting employee orientation programs to familiarize new hires with the organization's HR policies and procedures. Additionally, I enter data into the HRIS system, ensuring its accuracy and conducting audits when necessary. I also prepare correspondence, HR forms, and documentation such as offer letters and return to work notices.
As part of my administrative support duties, I gather and collect necessary files for joint commission surveys and provide assistance with colleague and labor relations inquiries. This includes reviewing and responding to escalated and compliance flagged colleague exit interviews, processing Workday transactions, and managing time and attendance and leave of absence matters.
I am responsible for coordinating and overseeing the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, claims resolution, and reporting changes. Maintaining confidentiality is a priority, especially when it comes to personnel actions, legal actions, termination and non-renewal documents, and organizational plans.
In my role, I am proficient in various software applications such as Workday, ClearSight, HireRight, SkillSurvey, Health Stream, TEAMS, and Equifax I9. I also complete OSHA 300 and 300A reports annually.
