You can hammer away at your sales goals all you want but Oprah or Brad Pitt can shout you out on their Social Media platform and your life and business can change overnight. I'm not going to guarantee you a blurb from Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk after our first call but I can definitely help you craft a strategy aligned to your personality and how you best interact with people. Some of us are more comfortable interacting with person, others through written text, others through calls and a few of us are embracing video as a way to build rapport at scale. After working in outside sales and making 50-100 residential door knowcs a day for an internet company back in 2005, a a lightbulb went off in my head and I realized that human relationships, just like sales, comes down to a numbers game. In life some people will not like you off the bat (C), most will be apathetic or neutral (B) and a few will be keenly interesting on getting to know you and collaborating with you A). I would simply write a check to the company name and deposit it into the corporate bank account with a detailed note in the memo section referencing the purpose. I would then put out a job proposal on Upwork for a CPA who can help with the chart of accounts. You can also check with outsourced CFO Firms like NowCFO and Hardesty.
