I help collectors, galleries, and cultural institutions navigate the intersection of art, technology, and data.
Background:
For two decades, I worked at the center of Moscow's digital transformation — building internet infrastructure in the 1990s, consulting for major media companies (including RBC), advising government bodies on digital policy, and managing the archive of Sergey Merkurov, one of the Soviet Union's most prolific sculptors.
I was an early cryptocurrency advocate (since 2016), launched radio shows on art and technology, and have spoken on platforms from Radio Liberty to state institutions about the future of digital culture.
Now I'm building Curators Engine — an AI system that analyzes art markets and makes expertise accessible.
What I can help you with:
→ Art market strategy — Understanding valuations, comparable artists, investment thesis
→ AI × Culture — How to use AI tools in galleries, museums, collections
→ Digital transformation — Taking cultural institutions online (I've done this for 20 years)
→ Building in public — Launching projects, finding support, creating systems
→ Heritage digitization — Turning analog archives into digital assets
Who I work with:
Collectors (emerging and established)
Galleries and auction houses
Museums and cultural institutions
Artists exploring AI tools
Founders building in the art/tech space
My approach:
I don't give generic advice. I synthesize data, cultural context, and 20 years of pattern recognition. You get clarity, not platitudes.
Proof of work:
→ Built one of Moscow's first ISPs
→ Consulted for RBC (Russia's Bloomberg)
→ Curated and digitized major sculpture archive
→ Early crypto investor and educator
→ Creator of Curators Engine (see: merkurov.love)
