Can a parent company have 2 different online businesses raise funds simultaneously from different investors?

In your case, X will raise funds not abc.com and xyz.com as the portals are under the company X. You may raise funds from two investors, however, you need to:

1. Either, raise in two separate rounds
2. Or, club both the investors in same round

How important is a responsive website design to rank highly in Google?

A good design is always the key to success. If you site is responsive it will open up nicely in all the platforms like tablet, smartphone, desktop and laptop.

It is not mandatory to have a responsive website to boost your overall rankings, however it is recommended as it will serve the following purpose:
1. There will be more time spent on your site that will boost your rankings.
2. Bounce rate will reduce, that will boost your rankings
3. Google will list it in a better way, that will boost your rankings.
4. It will be visible in proper formats from different platforms that will boost your rankings because more people will open it.
5. Search engines will fetch the links more efficiently, that will boost your rankings.

I have a good idea for a business, but don't have the funds to start, what should I do?

You should focus upon your core competency,the best team of co-founders should be a combinations of a hacker, a hustler and a hipster. As you are not the hacker (coder) then you should choose between the rest.

The next step would be develop an idea and get it validated through an expert (I can help you). After validating the idea, prepare a presentation and then share it with potential co-founders.

When you have a team in place, then immediately start executing the idea and build traction (I can help you).

They are not concerned about the work is being done in India or any other part of world as long as you are frugal. How important is coding knowledge in starting a SAAS business? Should I start by learning code or just get started on the idea? Book suggestions?

You should focus upon your core competency. If you are good at swimming then don't try to climb a tree. For example if a fish try to climb the tree it will fail, similarly if a monkey try to swim it will also fail. Both of them are good in their own fields. In startups we have a simple rule, one builds, one manage and one sells.

When is the right time to launch an idea?

There is no right time to launch an idea, every time is the right time. Both the contradicting statements stands true. It is like asking a question which train to board for reaching London from Paris? The trains which starts at 10 am or the train which starts at 11 am?
What would you answer? In fact both the trains would take you to London, however it depends upon the time when you wish to reach there. If you wish to reach early, then start early, if you wish to reach late then start late.

I have written about it in my book 'Startup Easy'. I would recommend you to use 'Rifle Approach' for finding and pitching the investors.

To be honest, you don't have to manage the investors, they will manage you (or at least try to administer).

What are the best practices for breaking into retail networks with private label natural supplement?

Disruption is your answer. You have to make the product disruptive or the product be competitive with disruptive pricing. Some entrepreneurs have this myth that if they convince the potential investors to use their products then they can get the investment, however this is wrong. If you make cigarettes and your investors don't smoke then they will still invest in it, if it sells.
