I'm a seasoned CEO with 25 years of experience in tech companies. I was the CEO of three different startup technology companies, where I raised over $200 million dollars in equity capital. I bring a practical, disciplined, collaborative, and focused problem solving approach to the executive table. In my most recent product company, Entropic Communications, I led the company from a pre-product, pre-revenue start-up, through a rapid phase of growth, and a successful IPO in late 2007, which was a very difficult economic environment. My team and I successfully navigated through the great recession, continued to grow the company, and executed on multiple M&A transactions as an industry consolidator. The company was eventually sold to MaxLinear in early 2014 as an additional industry consolidating play, where the effective stock price of Entropic has more than doubled.
As a CEO and executive, I've been on the buying or selling side of over $2 billion in M&A transactions. I was the Winner of 2008 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Technology, San Diego Daily Transcript 2008 Top Influentials in the Technology Industry, and 2011 San Diego Business Journal Most Admired CEO.
