PV$4.17/min per minute(10)Personal BrandingPoornima Vijayashanker • San Francisco Bay AreaCreated 12 years ago in Business / Getting StartedFinding your voice, sharing your expertise, and having it evolve into a brand is challenging and takes time. The vast number of outlets such as: social media, blogging, video blogging, etc. only seem to overwhelm most. I've come up with a simple and streamlined approach that helps guide people down the path of personal branding. It also helps those who seek to balance building a personal brand and a business. I've been honing my approach, for the past 7 years, initially through blogging on Femgineer about engineering and entrepreneurship. Since then the blog has had a tremendous influence in mainstream media channels such as: Fortune, Forbes, FoxNews, NYTimes, and WSJ. It has also presented me with a number of opportunities such as speaking at conference, non-profits, growth stage startups, Fortune 500 companies, and universities. Now I'm sharing my expertise with CEOs, entrepreneurs, and engineers, who are interested in finding their own voice and are getting started on the path of personal branding.Poornima Vijayashanker San Francisco Bay Area(10)

I found Poornima to be exceptionally precise and really clear on the advice she gave me. She really took the time before the call to look at my site and then gave me good tactical actions along with more strategic ones. Highly recommend.

Source: Clarity Mark Horoszowski Apr 25, 2013While my team and I were preparing the final stages of our software development for our group payment startup, we began to actively search for strategic Advisors for our Board. I had come across one of Poornima's blog posts on Women 2.0 and was immediately impressed with her message. After connecting a short time later, Poornima accepted our offer and jumped right in. She has been invaluable with helping to strategize on everything from recommendations to enhance our user experience to our SXSW plans to our beta launch. Our entire team has both enjoyed and benefited from Poornima's expertise, input and her thoughtful approach. We look forward to continuing to have her as an Advisor as our software and company continue to evolve.
