He approached me about partnering on opportunities in my business area. At the time, a colleague and I were focused on growing our analytics/business intelligence capabilities. So, the timing was right for meeting with Mark and other Informatica officials to discuss topics of mutual interest.
This meeting led to others and started a meaningful partnership which produced teaming opportunities, expanded partnerships with other organizations in our companies, and continues to this day - although we both recently left our companies. I wholeheartedly endorse Mark's professionalism, initiative, insightfulness, teaming and people skills. I hope we can work together again in the near future.
