MenuHow do I get the right customers to see our product?
We have just launched cultureboom.co and I wanted to get the recommendations of the community here for any suggesstions to make sure the product is seen by the people (Founders of startups with 10+ employees).

I took a look at the site and to be honest, it was difficult for me to understand the problem you solve. I started scrolling through your site to get a better idea, which is not a good indicator.
I would make it extremely clear about what you do and what problem you solve.
If your target audience is Founders, startups, etc, then you need to be targeting them where they hang out.
1. Linkedin - #1 social media platform for b2b. I would start posting insightful content, that leads back to your brand, on Linkedin, daily.
2. Connect with people linkedin, minimum 20 new connections a day. Use the search bar and type in either: Founder, CEO, COO, CMO, Co-Founder and start connecting with each one of them.
3. Once you're connected, send them a short DM with something that you're offering that is literally 100% valuable to them.
4. Go to remote.co and weworkremotely.com and look up the companies that are posting new jobs. Find the name of the CEO/Founder on Linkedin and message them.
5. Consider doing Linkedin ads
6. Network at Meetups
The strategy that you'll need to implement is long-form. The only short form strategy you have/can do is advertising. If you have the budget, run with it, if not, then take my advice above.
Congrats! Two thoughts come to mind immediately: first, think critically about your competitors, "like" brands, and brand heroes. These people have often done the work for you when it comes to gathering people who are interested in your product. Target accordingly—paid and social, and craft your message about the pain points your customer is experiencing right now. Ask around to find out what those are. Secondly, the word "culture" can be tricky—it means something different to each person, so consider defining it somewhere on your homepage so we understand the problem, and how you provide a solution for it. This word has proved challenging in several people and companies I've branded over the years, so just thought I'd mention it! :) Good luck with your launch.

"Traction" - you define as 'make sure its seen', Yet I would suggest that what is really important at this early point is converting.
I know, you want both. Prior post have some good 'traffic' suggestions (and you seem to have good grasp of rogue marketing yourself w your question placement here on Clarity Answers ;-)
OK - to my point of conversion --> your site needs credibility.. as you are selling advice, expertise etc.. but the site has no credibility elements.
best way is if you and your team have credible backgrounds then add those to the site.. or 'case studies' or logos of companies you've helped, or quotes from founders or some other content that create trust in value to the traffic you do get...
....because traffic doesn't mean squat if you can't convert it..
Also your footer, to me subtracts credibility as it signals that perhaps you are not committed enough to the success of the business as you are using a free template (with 3rd party template company promo footer)

If your goal is to get quick visibility from founders and CEOs of startups, then, advertising will be easiest way. LinkedIn will be the most important channel from advertising as well as community point of view.
Google Network ads can also help get a wider visibility and recognition. I also checked the website and I think value prop is not very clear. Unique thinking has been shown in case of pricing but I'm not sure how it will resonate with your audience. I guess you should consider testing this pricing with traditional structure to see response and make comparisons.

From technical point of view the site look well design and professional , but it is little bit slow loader , need maybe load test , change of standard templates or CMS or server your site is running on, next step would be running social campaign , for your site , LinkedIn , FB , Insta , search for professionals in LinkedIn and contact them , look for a local website as craiglist or news paper for ad campain

Avoid buzzwords: - every founder thinks their idea is disruptive/revolutionary - every founder says their financial projections are conservative Instead: - explain your validation & customer traction - explain the assumptions underlying your projections Avoid: - focusing extensively on the product/technology rather than on the business - misunderstanding the purpose of financial projections; they exist in a pitch deck to: a) validate the founders understanding of running a business b) provide a sense of magnitude of the opportunity versus the amount of capital requested c) confirm the go-to-market strategy (nothing undermines a pitch faster than financial projections disconnected from the declared go-to-market approach) d) generally discredit you as someone who understands how to build a company; for instance we'll capture 10% of our market, 1% of China, etc. Top down financial projections get big laughs from investors after you leave the room. bonus) don't show 90% profit margins. What is a good/average conversion rate % for an e-commerce (marketplace model) for customers who add to cart through to purchase order.
There is quite a bit of information available online about eCommerce conversions rates. According to a ton of sources, average visitor-to-sale conversion rates vary from 1-3%. This does not mean the Furniture conversions will be the same. The bigger problem is that visitor-to-sale conversions are not a good data point to use to measure or tune your eCommerce business. All business have some unique friction factors that will affect your final conversion rate. It's very important to understand each of these factors and how to overcome them. The best way to measure and optimize is to take a conversion funnel approach. Once you have defined your funnel you can optimize each conversion rate to better the total effect. For example: Top of the funnel: - All web site visitors, 100,000 / month First conversion: View a product page, 50% of all visitors Second Conversion: Add to Cart, 10% of people who view products Final Conversion: Complete Checkout, 80% of people who put items in a cart In this example we see that only 10% of people who actually view products put them in to a cart, but 80% of those people purchase. If you can figure out why visitors are not adding items to their cart and fix the issue to increase the conversion rate, revenue should increase significantly because of the high checkout rate. You can use free tools like Google Analytics to give you a wealth of information about your site visitor and their behavior or there are some great paid tools as well.DM

How much equity should I ask as a C-level executive in a new startup ?
As you may suspect, there really isn't a hard and fast answer. You can review averages to see that a CEO typically becomes a major shareholder in a startup, but your role and renumeration will be based on the perceived value you bring to the organization. You value someone's contribution through equity when you think that they will be able to add long-term benefits, you would prefer that they don't move company part way through the process, and to keep them from being enticed by a better salary (a reason for equity tied to a vesting arrangement). Another reason is when the company doesn't have salary money available but the potential is very strong. In this situation you should be especially diligent in your analysis because you will realize that even the best laid plans sometimes fall completely short. So to get the best mix, you have to be very real about the company's long-term growth potential, your role in achieving it, and the current liquidity necessary to run the operations. It should also be realized that equity needs to be distributed. You cannot distribute 110% and having your cap table recalculated such that your 5% turns into 1% in order to make room for the newly hired head of technology is rather demotivating for the team. Equity should be used to entice a valuable person to join, stay, and contribute. It should not be used in leu of salary that allows an employee to pay their bills. So, like a lot of questions, the answer is really, it depends. Analyzing the true picture of your long-term potential will allow you to more easily determine the correct mix.DH

As the owner of a web development firm, I am always inventing our own digital products and services. Any service that is web-based and accessible to mobile devices work as long as they solve a business need. The digital products I wish would exist are: 1.
