MenuHow can I advertise on different forums where users are talking about my competitors?
Answers
Just a thought from someone currently working on marketing his own firm online:
Ideally, your existing customers would be so happy with your product, that they would write about you in those forums. Could you help them do that, or lead their attention to it? Or - if you think that is unethical - could you respectfully recommend your own product in the forums?
Alternatively, you could just participate in the discussions and add value like that. You could learn about how your competitors work from their customers perspective, and get new ideas for your own product from the interaction.
That way, you would get both visibility and ideas for product development.
Good luck with your branding! Feel free to set up a call if you want to discuss the idea more in depth.
Best regards
Kenneth
Focus everything on how your product helps "them" get what they want. Your USP. It is not just about your "brand" at this point. Describe the benefits of your product, then introduce the brand name as the one that best provides those needed and wanted benefits.
Best of Luck,
Mike

If you believe that you can find a forum where people are spewing venom on your competitors, you will get none because it will against their terms of service and it will be reported and deleted. If you find it there it will be for a short term. No forum wants to have a bad name and fall in the whirlpool of lawsuits for allowing such posts. As far as using Google Display Networks are concerned this link will help you: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/2404190?hl=en

How can I earn $2,000 monthly using Google adsense?
1. What kind of industry should I consider so that I can get easy traffic in a very, very short amount of time, considering the fact that my only objective is to reach $2000 monthly. Health/wellness/nutrition/fitness are usually quick, high-interest industries. Definitely high-competition, though. Saturated market already. 2. What could be the most efficient way to get traffic in this case Efficient? Buy it from Adwords. COST efficient? Organic/SEO. But organic takes time and lots of energy in content production and promotion. 3. Should I use Wordpress blog or design my website from scratch (any other suggestions?) I prefer WordPress for nearly everything. Unless you have some specific reason not to, I recommend choosing WordPress. 4. Is there another easy way to get money for my website apart from Google adsense? Yes, definitely. Adsense is actually a VERY low payout method of monetizing traffic. Look into CPA marketing, or cost-per-acquisition. Affiliate marketing sites are also good options. Both take time and effort, however. $2k/mo in web traffic revenue is a lot for solo publishers. That's an ambitious goal. Chase it, definitely. But think outside the box a bit. Adsense won't get you to $2k/mo anytime soon. If there were (legitimate) get-rich-quick schemes lying around on the web, we'd all be doing them!TK

What are the best services to use for retargeting, and how should you set it up regarding tagging users / frequency?
I've been using perfectaudience.com and found great success. It's very easy to use and the results have consistently been above average. It's Facebook specific but where are most people spending their time? Facebook.RS

When bidding on CPM traffic through a self-serve RTB DSP, what are the most efficient strategies for initially choosing sites/apps, and setting a CPM?
The answer depends on your situation: You could be a start-up that is more concerned with not blowing tons of money, or you could be in a rush to be done. In both situations, your objective is to find inventory sources that work quickly and then massively scale into those inventory sources. I am going to assume that the goal is to be efficient. In this case, I would start with relatively few inventory pieces and a pretty low bid. The goal of your experiment is to determine what inventory DOESN'T work while spending as little money as possible. By concentrating your spend on a few pubs, you can get to significant results quickly. If you spread out your spend, you won't generate enough clicks or backend actions per inventory source quickly enough to determine if one is actually working. (In my latter user persona, you can simply spend gobs of money to get significant results on lots of inventory quickly.) So the moral of the story is that you want to get to results, you have to scale the number of pubs you work with to align with the amount of money you are planning to spend. You would like to, within a day or two, rule out bad inventory and focus on new inventory, or alternately, make massive investments in working inventory to print money for yourself. I would be happy to do a call to further discuss.BH

Should I set up multiple adword accounts for multiple websites or just one adword account for multiple websites?
It all depends on whether they are all selling the same thing to the same persona. If yes, then combine all the campaigns into one adwords account, which feeds into one analytics account. That way they can get feedback on the effectiveness of different keywords, ads, etc. more quickly (because there will be more data, from all the different websites, all in one place, for a particular keyword). If they are each selling different things, or to different personas, then don't combine their accounts, because it will just make things confusing and not useful from an analysis perspective.LV

What are the best adwords automatization tools?
Depending upon what aspect of AdWords you want to automate, you can look at various tools. As Megumi suggested, Marin is a good option for bid management. You can have a look at Optmyzr (optmyzr.com) to automate account management activities. Cyfe is another option to automate reporting and building dashboards.AD
