Even though I have a strong technical background, my real passion has always been on "the sales side" of my businesses. And while I've adapted my techniques, and my weapons to modern times, I remain an old-fashion sales guy, who relishes in the satisfaction of great sales - whether you're selling yourself, a product, an idea or your business - I can help.

Business to Geek Translator

I've benefited form a valuable capability to speak "business" and speak "geek". That has been invaluable in translating and fast-tracking "real business need" to technology people and vice versa. I've been CEO and CTO and as such I can help to validate and refine a business spec, define or validate a technology strategy, help guide the selection of appropriate technology all the way to building an execution team and providing oversight on execution of a project.

I've built 5 companies in the tech space, but I've started many more than that. Along the way I learnt many do's and don'ts of starting a business - not least of wish is that just because I think it's a good idea, doesn't mean it doesn't suck. I f you're starting a business, or thinking of starting one, especially in tech, my experience can save you some valuable time and money.

I co-founded APS and ran global business development. It grew to dominate its market in just 6 years before we sold it to Intuit in 2005.
I can help with multiple facet of a business from strategy and refinement of vision to product development, manufacturing, sales and finance. I can help guide you through successful growth.
