As collaborative consumption reshapes our entire economy, I've been an unabashed cheerleader in this space since the beginning, not because I believe there is some just cause taking place, but because I see this as an unstoppable force. While collaborative consumption has huge upside for many people, there are certain social, economic, and political consequences that will cause upheaval. I've devoted a significant amount of time to thinking about how this force will reshape everything.
There is a revolution taking place within financial markets as the democratizing effect of social media begins to sweep through this industry. I'm extremely lucky to have been a part of StockTwits, the largest social finance platform on the web, and now as the Founder and CEO of Estimize, a platform that is tearing down the world of sell side earnings estimates by crowdsourcing from buy side and independent analysts.
Leigh asked great questions, challenged me, and reinforced much of what I already thought. I really appreciate the time he took and it seemed like he really cared.
I thoroughly enjoyed my phone call with Leigh. He listened, he advised and he provided some rock solid advice. He also provided a great suggestion for our business strategy that I will be actively be exploring in the near future. In short, I am really pleased I reached out and made the call. All of his reviews echo this and I would add that his blog is recommended reading for entrepreneurs.
Having the pleasure of working alongside Leigh for the past 2 years, I can attest that he is one of the most hardworking and passionate people I have ever worked with. If given a task or goal, he will put his head down and complete it exceptionally.
As product manager of the Chart.ly website, Leigh combined both his own insight, instinct, and user feedback to build an excellent chart sharing site that has seen tremendous user growth and adoption.
Within only a couple months in Biz Dev at StockTwits, Leigh lined up a full pipeline of potential partners.
At a startup having someone willing to do what is necessary and do it both quickly and efficiently is absolutely essential. Leigh is someone who can execute, and execute well.
Leigh is dedicated, focused, and sharp. Most importantly he is a self-starter: I set up Leigh with extremely sophisticated equipment he had never before used, and he mastered it flawlessly without asking questions or requiring assistance. He's a respected blogger and media contributor with a vast knowledge of finance and the stock market.
Leigh is a very passionate person who works hard at what he does. He can do anything you put infront of him. We worked together on occasion and he was detail oriented and communicated well.
Leigh has been a very valuable asset to StockTwits. He wore many hats and managed our community, coordinated our Chart.ly product, and also hosted a daily show on the markets. Leigh has a very strong work ethic, and a drive to always win. He provided very useful feedback to me, during the development of the StockTwits iPhone app, ensuring that the Chart.ly user experience on mobile was consistent on the web. Give Leigh an inch and he will take you a mile.
Leigh is a very dedicated and ambitious guy who worked tirelessly to build the StockTwits brand and build marketplace partnerships. He had a tremendous impact at StockTwits in supporting the development of Chart.ly and in enhancing our brand following in the early goings, and would certainly be an asset to future endeavors.
Extremely bright individual who has displayed wisdom beyond his years.
