Laura Chee-Gay is an achievement- and goal-oriented sales account manager and a great product champion. She educates herself on the products she sells and doesn't need to be spoon-fed information about those products. She's got energy and brings creativity to the selling of any product.

When Sheshunoff Information Services converted its salesforce from a telesales (cold calling) force to an account-driven force, Laura Chee-Gay excelled to a degree not seen by others in moving towards the solution sale. In fact, she piloted the program and her success gave sales management the mistaken feeling that it could be duplicated throughout the entirety of its lesser skilled sales force. She quickly took on the challenge of selling based on client needs, particularly with electronic products.

Ultimately, when the inefficiencies in the account-driven structure revealed themselves for smaller and medium-sized clients, Laura was solely retained (and matched with several new reps experienced in solution sales) for the account drive and consistently met her goals and took the lead in upselling more sophisticated product to a very mature market.

Among sales professionals at Sheshunoff, Laura was unmatched in her keen understanding of products and the client problems that they resolved.

I had the pleasure of onboarding Laura when she was first hired by Postini. During her tenure, I was very impressed with her creative approch to developing and managing the territory to which she was assigned. Working the Canadian territory while working for a US-based organization is challenging by itself, add informational technology to the mix and that is a completely new level of complexity. Laura exhibited strong skills in competitive knowledge, overcoming objections, using reference accounts, upsell existing customers, and pipeline development and management.

From the beginning she was an apt and capable student of the information and materials.
