Co-founders are permanent, long-term members of your team and a technical co-founder is someone who has a long view of the product's development, is committed to seeing it happen, and can make it happen. If you don't need that, sub out.
Confidence that you will achieve your goals and return money to them is what matters most to investors. Confidence that your team can make that happen is #1. Why will you be the ones to succeed at this?
I don't think there is a role. I think you need to determine the responsibilities and motivations a person might have for sponsoring and speak to their needs related to it. In my experience, the people with these interests in a company don't reside in just one role.
I need a ticket sales tool. Something much simpler and more usable than eventbrite. Preferably one that integrates with stripe.com.
Tell the story of the problem that it will solve. Build a community of people who care to have that problem solved. Keep them informed of each step of the road to build the solution for them and get their help building it. Then when it's ready you have demand, a customer base, and a community that will attract others.
No, you need an easy-access demonstration of what your app will do, including the most important features and differentiators. My wife built her prototype with cardboard and paper and I watched potential investors and partners light up in the first 30 seconds as they played with it and understood right away what she intended to build. Mission accomplished!
Jeff is an expert in social media marketing and understands the finer details that make a big difference for a client. He's smart and nice and had great advice for a small startup like ours.
Jeff has a very thorough understanding of the social marketing landscape. I feel as though I avoided a lot of early mistakes in my social marketing journey by talking to Jeff.
Jeff is a great professional. He knows what he is talking about and is more than willing to help out wherever he can. AIESEC Halifax greatly appreciates his contributions.
Jeff is awesome. Super thoughtful and knows his shit when it comes to Social Media for businesses.
In simple words, Jeff helped me to understand Social Media world and Social Business.
I learned to use tools that I never heard about effectively, also I learned from him that data is important but what you do with the data is more important.
Jeff's training skills are very efficient for any trainee.
Jeff has coached me from the beginning in understanding and using social media. He is always on the cutting edge of social media trends and is the leader in effective use of social media in New Brunswick.
Jeff knows more about social media, networking and connecting people than anyone I know or have heard of. If you're considering services from Jeff through Sociallogical it's money well spent and, as well as getting it back through what you learn, you'll see a social return on that investment.
Jeff's experience and enthusiam for the entrepreneur was infectious. I sought Jeff's counsel on a number of issues relating to business start-ups and various topics relative to entrepreneurship. He is a leader in his field.
In a world where the way we communicate is in constant flux, we all need to understand and embrace social change. Jeff's insight, vision and mentorship have helped me to learn and visualize how social business can impact my world in a positive way. We are very fortunate to have Jeff's pure talent as both an entrepreneur and social business educator/mentor in New Brunswick. More than this however, he is a person with deep self-awareness, thoughtfulness, high integrity and passion. He is without a doubt one of the best people I know in Saint John. And, I am fortunate to call him a friend.
Jeff maintains a cutting edge working knowledge of social media, a subject which is tough to keep up with. His friendly and practical approach is refreshing and professional. His insights set him apart from others in a highly competitive field. We're lucky to have such talent 'in da hood'!
I highly recommend Sociallogcial’s online course called Understand Social Business. The content is rich, flexible and comprehensive. I now have an even greater sense of urgency to embrace social media in promoting my business, but more importantly, I know how to accomplish this without fear.
