I am the Founder and CEO of Klozers.com, a web portal that provides expert B2B sales consulting, sales training and sales coaching.
I inadvertently stumbled into my first sales role when I was 18 and have been selling something or other, ever since. My early years were spent selling Capital Equipment in the construction industry which took me to Annapolis, Maryland as North American Sales Manager for the Platform Rentals Group. I left the US and started my own Recruitment Consultancy which quickly gained Blue Chip clients such as Tesco Stores, Waitrose, Safeway and Arcadia Group. Realizing I wanted to return to a more sales focused role I joined the US Sales Training organization Sandler Sales Institute where I worked for the next 5 years.
I also worked with Microsoft to help set up and run the Microsoft Scotland Sales Academy which was created to deliver Sales Excellence throughout Microsoft & their Partner Network. As Lead Sales Trainer & Sales Coach, I was responsible for the implementation of Sales Process, Sales Methodology and Best Practice in Business Development and Account Management.
I currently live in North Berwick with my wife Jo and we have been married 19 years. We have two teenage daughters aged 13 and 16 who are fantastic. My hobbies include Reading, Motorcycling, Cycling, Soccer and Skiing.
