Having done Product Development for 2 of the Fortune 100, and led several product launches, I understand the problems often faced by marketeers in developing and launching innovative products. I can also help with market research methodologies to test for product-concept fit, cannibalization by existing products, product quality, customer satisfaction, post-launch success of marketing initiatives etc.
I have a broad work experience in India, & the U.S. across different industries - Biotech, Medical Devices, Foods & Beverages, Management Consulting, Luxury & Jewelry with both MNCs and start-ups. I have also studied & lived in the U.S. & Spain and mentored students at various levels, as well as professionals from around the world on career choices, moves and networking.
Through my education in science & business (finance), I have come to appreciate the need to accurately assess businesses from both technical and commercial perspectives, and have successfully completed over 100 assessments for employers and clients.
A combination of knowledge gained in my MBA, a lifetime spent around Govt. officers & development professionals, & work done to assess the Non-market environment (political, social, legal) affecting the firm, and advise CEOs, COOs and Boards of Directors, I am extremely familiar with contemporary issues faced by different stakeholders that affect the firm.
I have built a successful BD program for J&J Medical in India, including setting-up decision making processes for innovation & product development. I have expertise in uncovering unmet needs of customers and designing portfolio pipelines.
Having worked on over 10 deals valuing over $50 million, I am also adept at deal sourcing, planning, financial valuations, scenario planning, due diligence processes, project management, intellectual property, and drafting terms, and contracts.
I worked with Dhruv when I was a postdoc at Northwestern. Dhruv is a warm human being who was always ready to help someone out when the need was there.
