What do sales reps (inside sales, outsides sales, account managers, etc) absolutely love about their job? What do they really find frustrating?

Great answer by Oliver. What I love most is being out and meeting people. Every new encounter is exciting.

What salespeople find most frustrating is what I call, "chasing rainbows". It's the idea that if I sell $100k this year, I will be expected to sell $450k next year. Sales goals always increase, but not necessarily the support.

I'm looking to get off the Yahoo platform. Shopify seems to be nice, and BigCommerce just looks like a slightly better Yahoo. Thoughts?

I've been using Shopify for four years, and love it. I tried a few others systems, and all had their shortcomings.

After 4 years of running an ecommerce business, I would say the platform is one of the easier decisions you will make. Be focused on traffic and building a page that converts.

I've always used the metric that 100,000 people will generate $5-6k per month. Revenue opportunities and pricing will increase above the level.

We've been approached recently by several large companies to license our content, platform and app. Looking for pros and cons?!

Licensing a platform is a terrific way to generate revenue. We struggled to gain an audience to our site and didn't have the funds to market as heavily as we would have wanted.

In came the offers to license. Margins were tighter, but the exposure to new customers made a world of difference.
