With a career that spans more than 30 plus years in business development, cultivating $4 million dollars in new business per year (not repeat business), across commercial and government sectors, I can make a profound positive impact to your existing sales efforts, or assist you with creating a dynamic strategy that incorporates a high-and-wide approach to market penetration and sales closure. I've sold tangible products, as well as integrated solutions like domestic and global logistics mechanisms that enhanced customer supply chain efficiencies and improved their competitive position(s) within their respective market place(s). Additionally, I love coaching sales teams, and assisting with the development of effective stratagems that deliver sales revenues and create new sales channels.
Throughout my career I have worked closely with professionals across various departments and at various levels of the corporate hierarchy toward improved operations resulting in advanced client services and efficiencies.
In addition to my roles in business development, I've invented ballistic and projectile resistant systems for the defense and law enforcement sectors, which included ongoing product development, patent filings, trademarking, and market strategy.
I have sold integrated domestic and international logistics solutions when I was a Director of Life Sciences for a global logistics company, laparoscopic surgical instruments and disposables as a Division Sales Manager for medical manufacturing company, ballistic, blast and projectile resistant barrier systems to the Federal Govt and Law Enforcement Agencies, and linear and circular systems furniture featuring HEPA filtration systems when I was an Account Manager for a dynamic, cutting edge systems furniture manufacturer during my early years in sales.
Prior to entering sales, I was employed as a buyer for a major railcar manufacturing company, and worked closely with my supervisor, the Director of Procurement, on the purchase of raw and finished materials from global suppliers which were used in the production of a unique multi-modal truck trailer with a split axle configuration that which allowed the vehicle to operated on a rail system.
The culmination of work experience, including interdepartmental collaborations, exposure to manufacturing, purchasing, after-market parts inventory and distribution, logistics, cost containment initiatives, and ultimately business development and sales have given me a very solid business foundation which allows me to effectively navigate the business spectrum, and I have developed refined communication skills which enable me to successfully negotiate at various levels of the corporate spectrum.
