In 2015, Mike was named to Forbes “30 Under 30” list in Healthcare. He has appeared in Fortune, Forbes, CNBC, USA Today, Business Insider, Wall Street Journal, L.A. Biz, is a contributing writer at TechCrunch and actively speaks at healthcare and technology events worldwide. He is also a host at Around The Coin (www.aroundthecoin.com), a podcast discussing startup news, marketplaces and interesting behavioral philosophy.
Mike started his career working as a design engineer at Brookstone Inc., working in Singapore, then as a mechanical engineer at ITT Corporation in Los Angeles designing radar systems for military grade UAVs. Mike has a history in the payment industry, founding ZingCheckout (acquired by BigCommerce), one of the first web-based POS systems in 2010, and Flowtab, a mobile payment app for the nightlife industry in 2011. By 2013, Mike and Kyle Hill founded HomeHero together, raising $23 Million on a mission to make senior care available to everyone.
Mike is a Ironman Triathlete, active writer and enjoys meeting other highly-motivated entrepreneurs, especially in the healthcare and technology space.
