In the film world we have grown accustomed to release a film and then chase the demand. How about chase the demand first and then release the film (when the numbers work) This is a much smarter, cost effective and leaner model that makes sure that the filmmaker makes money from the first dollar as opposed to the last dollar. On Deep Blue Sea we we raised $60,000 on Pozible.com and then released the film to 30 cities across Australia
