MenuHow to enter the US market with an established health&wellness product?
We are a producer of a device that was designed to neutralize/harmonize the negative effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMR/EMF) on the human body.
Since 2011 we sold more than 19.000 units (average price was $520), mostly in EU and now we would like to enter the US market.
We are looking for the right strategy (big partners and networks, or affiliates) on how to enter the US market as in EU we have hundreds of small distributors, healing centers, etc.

Setup a content rich blog about the tech.
Monetize via on page ads selling your device.
Buy traffic from Gemini + Outbrain + Taboola to your site.
Also, buy display ads through Taboola + other Ad Networks to place on sites to sell your product.
Build a mailing list of opt-ins off your site.
Use retargeting pixels to stalk people who visit your site.
I would start by using some of the same techniques you used to grow your sales in the EU to enter the US market.
Producing consistent quality content on your website is essential. Along with a solid social media strategy.
From there once you develop a solid presence it will be very easy to reach out to more small distributors, centers, partners etc. and get them on board. Plus you if everything is done right you will have inbound leads wanting your product too.
Make sure your partners have a healthy margin and understand the demand for your product.
If you need any help along the way Im just a call away.
Great answers already.
Some of my tips
1. What techniques got you so far? Can you standardise it
and check it if the same works in the US market
2. Would it be possible to draw up referrrals in the US markets
3. Producing consistent quality content on your website and be aggressive with your solid social media strategy.
4. Check with your digital agency to create "some useful and relevant content" that can go viral in the social media-- specifically USA market
5. Do you have affiliates from the US?
6. What part of the product can be given free as a "Test material" It can even be a "service tips" material Let them have a feel of your product and your service -- in short your brand
7. Can you participate in any trade shows physically or online
8. After creating all of these you could promote and advertise for "Distributors, Affiliate Partners " in that region
I can give a 10 minutes free talk in this regard
Hope it helps

Congratulations on your massive success with a niche and helpful device in the EU.
For the US, marketing strategy along with device proof needs to be validated once again.
You should conduct a clinical study or the efficacy analysis to show that your device holds all the clinical aspects true even across the Atlantic.
Another objective should be that you provide some of the free samples to significant influencers in the US market.
In addition to that, there are some B2B2C approaches which can be implemented.
Hope this helps and I look forward to connecting with you further!

How can I request an intro to a high-profile entrepreneur/investor?
Your assumption is not true. They don't care where you come from. Time is money regardless of where in the globe you come from. Ask for advice not money if you are going in cold. Don't send your deck, don't attach anything to that email and make sure the email is max four short sentences. Here is how to get a response: Subject: Seeking advice Body: Line 1. Name.. working on a product in X space that does Y. Line 2. I saw you have experience with X space and Y products. Line 3. I would like your advice on (user acquisition, scaling, blah, blah). Make sure you do your homework on what area the investor is an SME. Line 4. Ask one very specific question. Thank you for your time Name DONE! It works and if you want to talk I can explain further which VCs this has worked with. As the saying goes ask for money you get advice. Ask for advice you get money. In an ideal world you want to have a warm intro. But hey those are not always easy to come by so you do what you have to. What is the worst that can happen investor says no? Or doesn't respond? Who gives a shit you tried.TP

What is the best sales material to use to support a B2B outbound strategy. And what should be the order of outreach? I.E email, phone call, mail?
People hate calls. People hate emails. People hate mail. Do you really want your first impression to be that of an interloper and a pusher? Then again, most recipients aren't event going to look at what you send them. What is your niche? Office managers for private family healthcare providers in Peoria? Athletics department directors for NAIA schools? Sales managers at wholesale car dealers that make over $180 million per year in gross revenue? Know your niche and define your buyer (and it better be the CIO or VP). Is your buyer female or male? Older, middle age, or younger? What about her or his college education? What does he drive? Where does he live? Where does he eat his lunch and get his coffee in the morning? What does he read? Etc. Go to your buyer. Find congregations of your buyer. Professional associations. Conferences. Meet-ups. Trade shows. Offer to do free presentations--not on your product but on best practices or trends you observe in the industry. Make your presentation about solving problems your buyers deal with every day. Write blogs or columns for media they read. Again, focus on what they need/want to read. You will have a hard time keeping enough business cards in stock and click-throughs from your byline. This is a true "targeted outreach campaign." Don't waste your money and time with anything less than this. You're going to do great. Please let me know if you'd like to talk about it more!BI

How do I generate leads for an outsourcing service?
I'd recommend attending trade shows and conferences focused on the tech industry. Another great option would be running a Facebook Ad campaign targeting organizations who best represent your ideal client. You can also try LinkedIn Sales Navigator and cold emails to cultivate your b2b leads. Any of these are viable methods for lead generation. It's best to try each one and see what results you get.RJ
