Process Management Maturity Evaluation

Most of the times, when talking about process optimization, what comes to mind is system implementation for automation. But is this really the next step? Incredibly, usually not. It depends on many factors, such as how your strategy is aligned with processes, your governance structures, methodologies for process mapping and improvement, your organization’s culture, and people’s mindset – do they think in process or not?

I use the BPM 6×5 (BPM 6 per 5) model to measure and develop action plans for the company to grow in Maturity in Business Process Management. This model, developed by myself, is a self-assessment model, so you can apply it yourself. Or you can also ask for my support either in applying it or reviewing its application, and on defining your action plan from its results. Operations Implementation

Every organization, be it big or small, needs to deal with Human Resources, Accounting and Information Technology. It is unavoidable, and at the same time fundamental, since faults on these areas can lead to waste of time, high costs and legal issues.

I have broad experience on implementing and executing these areas’ main processes in small companies and NGOs, in an optimal way and at low cost.

I also implement other methodologies & systems according to the organization’s mission: Project management, Customer Relationship Management, Knowledge Management, Training programs for employees.

Process Description

You might be just starting your business and need to understand how exactly you are doing it. Or it might also happen that you have been working already for some time, but still face questions about your process that you are not able to answer.

On which moment is this decision taken? What are the criteria considered here? Who is responsible for compliance? Quality assurance? Determining what these should be?

Having a thorough description of your main processes helps you to fill in the gaps and find opportunities to improve. You will be surprised with what you will find out when describing your process with us! And this will make your life much easier when training new employees.

The best part is: I will do it using the most appropriate tool for you and your team, be it a flowchart, if you like drawings, or in text, if you prefer it that way. There is no right way to deliver a better business, there is only the way that fits your business -and you- best.
