I help founders raise capital. I have advised on funding strategy, raise amount, valuation, targeting investors and pitch decks. I also invest in nearly one new company/month via my venture fund. We invest at the first round of startup funding-- often called the pre-seed, seed or angel round. I also run the largest Angel syndicate, based in the Midwest, a group of 280+ angel investors that co-invest in our deals. In May of 2014, I launched the first Venture Capital podcast, The Full Ratchet. This has created an extensive network of VCs and Angels that use me to scout investments.
