How to analyse and prove to business stakeholders that a website redesign (b2b hardware) is better than a previous one?

I would definitely take the simple approach, if you can prove them that you new concept (design, features, fonts, colors, etc... ) gets them more business, they won't care about anything else.

What normally stands between a redesign and a previous one is the business owner ego. I mean they want the color they like, the font they like, the pictures they like and the millions of useless menus they think they need...

But if you make them understand it is not about them, but their clients and ultimately this new concept brings them new clients you'll win the battle easily.

As a massage specialist I am hoping to have pre-screened referrals from dentists/specialists, what's a good way to establish a solid referral network?

Hi... :)

A great way to reach them is by direct mail, send them a nice letter or a postcard... The most important thing is to create a great title so they can start reading and make it appealing it can be funny, doesn't matter.. Inside the letter or postcard tell them the benefits (what's in it for THEM) and at the bottom add a link, your phone number and email and tell them 2 things,, and this is really important....

1. If you would like to learn more about my referral program, don't hesitate, contact me you can send me an email, give me a call or visit the link below...

In another paragraph (try not to put them together, it can also be a "PS" if you like) tell them this:

2. I know you have a very busy schedule and sometimes important partnerships like this one might slip your mind, so I'll be giving you a call Saturday 19 around 10 am to follow-up and see if you can give me a minute of your time.

You don't have to use the exact words but I hope you get the idea...

How do you hold yourself accountable to sales goals you've set? Do you review your goals regularly with a peer, mentor, coach, or mastermind group?

I hope you are doing great! You are right as a solopreneur it can be hard to stick and accomplish your goals with so much to do...I can relate to that.

In my experience (personal and helping clients) I'd recommend you to answer the following questions:

- Why do I want to get those results?
- Why am I committed to getting the results I want?
- What will I get from achieving them?
- How will it impact the quality of your life and those you care about?

Answering those questions will allow you to prioritize your results...

Once you have them make a plan on how you can achieve them and try to create a systematic approach to them (create a process) and you should review your process everyday.

I would also recommend a coach he will give you other insights and you can review your progress weekly or bymonthly.

How to price services for a digital marketing company?

Hello... I totally understand where you are coming from.. I started a digital marketing company several years ago and let me tell you it has been quite a ride :)...

Anyway answering your question is not easy, I would start by defining and refining who you want your clients to be, small businesses, professionals, large corporations, etc...

Now there are many pricing strategies out there and all are good to take into consideration like pricing in the range of your competitors, or in the low range or in the high range.

My personal opinion is to first determine how much you need to price your services so you are NOT losing money, every business is different, you can compare 2 digital marketing agencies and even if they are both starting what they pay to employees could be different, the tools they are using could be different, you get my point right.. so please be sure you don't lose any money.

Once you have that price, go from there to wherever you want, it is all about how your prospect perceives the value, if you are helping him acquire 2000 dlls customers, then you can charge 500, 600, 700, etc... If you are helping him create facebook ads (which could be the same thing you were doing in the previous example, but your value proposition was different) maybe you won't be able to price your service as high.

There are many other considerations, but with the information you gave so far I wouldn't worry about my competition. I will define the perfect client, create your value proposition and price accordingly.

Besides driving traffic to a lead magnet, what are some ways to generate leads for creative agencies?

Hi... :) There are many ways in which you can generate leads, from Passive Marketing Tactics such as: Direct Mail, Advertisements, Industry Directories, Yellow Pages (in some places they are still working), TV, Newspaper, or you can try one on one with the prospect (Active Marketing Tactics) such as Cold Calls, Sales Visits, Client Interviews, Demos, Seminars, etc... 80% of the effectiveness will be determined on who is your perfect client for each one of the services you provide, that way you can define exactly were to find them and then how to market your services...

There's no easy answer to your question, anyone who helps you needs to go deeper into your agency. If you need anything else I'll be glad to help.

I visited your website and it appears to me you have several niches you are focusing on, so in order to develop a strategy we need to look deeper into who is your perfect client, who have you served before in each one of the services you have. It is not the same to go after a trainer or a corporation who is looking to use games as a resource for training as it is to go find people who need a website or an app.

Also are you trying to acquire customer via online or you can go face to face...

As a solo freelancer of my company (Incorporation), what are the best practices to grow my business, get more clients, and hire people?

Hi, how are you? First let me tell you that I totally understand what you want to accomplish.. When I started my first company I started by helping business owners fix some IT issues they had and I ended being most of the time with their team and I was doing all the work and leaving no time to grow the business.

So don't get me wrong the first thing that might be happening to you is that you haven't setup boundaries as to what you should do and what not, (it happened to me, that's why I had no time for planning).

If this is not happening to you then the next step, which is a little bit hard to do is that you are going to have to "split your profits", and what I mean with this is that since you have no time to get more clients because you are full with work, you need to hire someone else and train him/her, take him/her with you and show what he/she has to do, do it first hand so that he learns not only the technical details but how you treat the customer. Also very important doing so will also allow your client accept the new change because at this moment your client is hiring you because of you, not because of your company.

Now like I mentioned before paying your new worker will mean less money in your pocket (don't worry this is just at the beginning), the sooner you finish the basic training you will be able to move forward and start planning to acquire new clients.

What are some effective, modern ways of getting traction from prospective clients?

Hello and thanks for the question,, I kind of agree to certain point with Jason Kanigan. I would be sure to line up the "pre-qualification" with what YOU want from a client.

I am going to assume you've already gave a thought to all that and your qualification is correct.

I would definitely recommend you to start by creating rapport. You mentioned that you created a database of prospects that have used the service in the past, but NOT YOUR service, so I am sure many of them wouldn't like a direct approach trying to make them change services.

After that first contact you need to see which ones respond to that first contact and follow up with a "solution to their problem". Those who didn't respond you need to keep trying for them to respond a new point of view, a different approach to create rapport, once they respond you need to then "solve their problem"

To those who responded, tell them why you are a better choice, those who didn't try a different thing..

For those who did respond to the last one make an offer that they just can't say no, just for trying your service and handle objections beforehand..

-So contact them and create rapport,
-Solution to their problem
-Why You
-Close the sale

Customize your marketing, even those contacts who never responded, keep in touch by adding value to them.

What are good platforms for outbound marketing for a development agency?

Hello,

I have been helping business owners grow their business for more than 15 years now, and please allow me to tell you that most of them have no CRM, (LOL)

If you are just starting I advice you to use Microsoft excell (share the file so everyone can update it) or use Google Sheet (you can share it to other collaborators)

Why should I advice you not to get a CRM if you are just starting?
Well, first a software normally makes your own process go nuts, you don't know what you really need and you waste a lot of time trying to adapt to processes that don't even exist.

So first get back to basics, you can even use paper and folders for each prospect and client. This will help you perfect your process and then look for what you really need that will help you automate your process and make it faster so you can go to the next level. (it will also save you some money you can use in your marketing)

If you already have a defined and refined process, make a list of you requirements, what is that you need to make faster, better and then look for those precise characteristics...
