In working with Eric at Autodesk, he was known to be a skilled designer as well as a creative thinker when it came to solving problems. He instantly fit in with his team and quickly grasped what needed to be done on the project and got to work designing iterations of the specs. Eric has a fresh perspective on design and would be a great asset to any company.
It’s great that I had an opportunity to work with Eric on Human Interface Guidelines Project at Autodesk. I was impressed by his enthusiasm and passion with which he collected design patterns. He has phantasmic knowledges about technological and design trends and he always provides up to date solutions for problems. In addition to technical skills Eric is a great collaborator who creates a very friendly and inspiring atmosphere in a team.
Eric's mobile design class at UCSC extension helped me grasp the whole process of the mobile UX design. I liked his heuristic teaching method where he provided the important guidelines yet allowed us to do design experiments on our own. At the end of this course, I was surprised to find myself being a lot more proficient and confident in analyzing mobile interface designs thanks to Eric’s introduction to the industry standards and the fundamental design concept in addition to new trends and techniques. It was actually amazing to see how he could efficiently cover so much information in 6 classes without overwhelming students. If anyone needs a well-structured fun crash course for a mobile interface design class, I would definitely recommend Eric’s class.
Eric's mobile design class at UCSC extension is fabulous. He is an outstanding, super energetic instructor who made the class a lot of fun. He provided latest course material and took time to give constructive feedback. I highly recommend this class to anyone who is looking into learning mobile design.
Eric’s Mobile Interface Design course was a superb course and one of my most wonderful design educational experiences. Eric is a one of a kind instructor and he conveys his knowledge in the most practical, up to date & understandable ways. His approach is second to none! He mastered a rich curriculum as well as perfect delivery. Over the course, we went through all the core elements of a design process from brainstorming, ideation, user research, sketching, wireframing and prototyping, mockup and presentation. Eric’s approach is interdisciplinary with a mixed balance of design, business, branding and design strategy. I found Eric’s personal teaching approach, energetic, inspiring & encouraging! I enjoyed his class and recommend it to anyone interested in mobile interface design.
Eric’s "Mobile Interface Design" was an enlightening and refreshing course that catered to different levels of design professionals. He focussed on teaching the basics of design thinking, giving students room to explore the rest depending on their area of expertise/interests. The study material was very thorough, covering design across multiple platforms. Bringing in guest speakers from the industry as well as cool and innovative gadgets was a pleasant surprise. On the personal side, Eric is very prompt and ready to provide good feedback at all stages of design. He is deeply committed to his students and willing to put in more time than what’s required, for their benefit. He constantly motivated us to push ourselves, something that became most evident on the final day where he chose to reward the most improved students. Overall, I am really happy to have taken this course and look forward to keeping in touch.

Eric is a perfect example of a true experience designer, I have worked with him directly on Human Interface Guidelines project. He had done remarkable work to increase the adoption of HIG's within the org by focusing on aggregating all the cutting-edge patterns and co-ordinating them with all the teams on a regular basis.
Eric is an fantastic design partner. His communication skills and clarity of design proposals sets him apart from the crowd. He has a strong sense of empathy towards the users. With all these skillsets under his belt Eric will be a true differentiator in any project he is in and will definitely exceed expectations.
I was introduced to Eric when I became an Ambassador for the Autodesk Human Interface Guidelines team. As far as I know, he single handedly redesigned the HIG website and then worked tirelessly & passionately to bring the UX community together to develop & share UX design patterns. He facilitated and participated in the meetings, website tasks and thought leadership surrounding the HIG group which involved the entire Autodesk design world. It's been a pleasure to get to know Eric and to be part of the HIG community he brought to life.
"Eric is an amazing teacher who makes the class lively. His course material is current and thoroughly researched. He is active in organizing meetups and had quite a few guest speakers come over during the course. We developed a high fidelity mobile app from idea to prototype in 6 weeks individually. Eric’s feedback, Q and A sessions and commitment to making his students succeed helped a lot. I really enjoyed his class and look forward to meeting him at other meetups."
