For individual career-seekers, Mr. Steele uses technology to help individuals overcome obstacles to employment through online coaching and digital recording techniques. He helps clients (i) assess existing skills and experience, (ii) identify the correct environment for their talents, (iii) map a strategy to find a career solution that is both financially rewarding and fulfilling. He performs a thorough assessment and evaluation and makes (based upon the outcomes of the career assessment) recommendations that are in alignment with the strengths, skills and experience of the client, with a focus on current and future career trends.

Mr. Steele has helped several nonprofits raise funds for annual campaigns

Mr. Steele has experience focusing on defending the rights of veterans and military households. He engages in outreach, education, advocacy to expand and implement strategies to help veterans from all campaigns. He also works with corporate and educational institutions to assure that veterans are treated fairly and with the care and respect they deserve in order to succeed in the civilian sector. He has a special interest in the impact of war on soldiers and military families, before, during and after their deployments, which includes PTS, TBI and a multitude of adjustment challenges associated with military service. He works with them to heal emotional and psychological wounds, and to become economically self-sufficient. His interest stems from his own experience as a the son of a Vietnam veteran.

Mr. Steele provides assistance to corporate and nonprofit businesses, with a focus on inclusion, employee engagement and diversity. Task At Hand has a module dedicated to affinity groups. Most companies invest a tremendous amount of time, effort and money on recruitment and retention of a diverse workforce. To ensure success of corporate diversity strategies, we provide support in the following manner: Needs Analysis/Survey Affinity Group Development Keynote Speaking Speakers’ Bureau We conduct surveys to determine the needs or concerns of each group (corporate management and/or existing AG). Based upon the survey results, we either (i) help establish an affinity group for a segment of their workforce, or (ii) develop a strategy to improve or affirm effectiveness. Additionally we deploy Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to hold workshops and give presentations covering a range of topics that promote and support the goals of both parties.
