Chris is a talented technical whiz with a great mind for both design and implementation. His strategic planning has proven invaluable in advising me on numerous projects and I would not hesitate to work with him again in the future.
Chris is a very talented programmer and a pleasure to work with. He puts in extra time and effort into everything he does. He is always available to help with any issues and listen to suggestions about improving the products.
Chris is one of the most innovative and intelligent people that I know. He is a rare breed: a brilliant engineer and developer who also understands leading people and managing complex projects. Chris has the vision, technical ability, interpersonal and communications skill to succeed leading a technology company. I hope to have the opportunity to work with him again in the near future.
Chris graduated with his MS from Drexel under my advising and promptly helped develop many of the key software tools that Traffic.Com provides to TV stations around the country to visualize traffic data in real-time. Chris helped turn traffic reporting into "weather" reporting in terms of its visuals.
Chris was an innovative, hard working, intelligent software developer throughout his time at Traffic.com. His design, development and other life cycle skills were excellent. He always made an effort to communicate and learn from other groups and received advice well. Chris showed he had strong leadship qualities and is destined to continue to grow whereever he goes.
Chris works prodigiously. His fingers are a blur when he sits at a keyboard, and yet his mind is engaged throughout this flurry.
Chris is a fast learner who is always eager to learn and apply new methods. He is also very detail-oriented, dedicated, and an excellent problem solver who is happy to share his knowledge and insights with others.
Chris is a detail-oriented and hard-working individual. He is very knowledgeable in a wide variety of areas, which contributes to his ability to learn new topics very quickly. Furthermore, Chris brings excitement and enthusiasm to all his endeavors, making him a very enjoyable person with which to work. I hope to have the opportunity to work with Chris again in the future.
I worked with Chris for about 2 years in his role at Drakontas. Chris was thorough in his investigations of problems and in understanding the technology. Chris communicates well and was a great person to work with.
Chris is a very focused worker. He quickly came up to speed on our project and was able to learn the domain knowledge necessary to be successful. He designed and deployed a terrific application that allowed the team to visualize data in a rapid, scalable manner. I would leap at the opportunity to work with Chris again.
I worked with Chris briefly at Traffic.com as he was on his way to a new opportunity while I was just starting. I dealt with Chris during my interview process at Traffic.com and during his transfer of information prior to leaving the company. I can tell you that to this day his presence is missed.
One thing that was very apparent in my short time working with Chris was his sense of organization and process. Many of the discussions we had revolved around debating different strategies of the software development process. Statements he made reflected a strong understanding of process and the organizational skills required to apply it.
In our particular environment we write code primarily for the windows operating system. Much of the code base that Chris worked in was managed C++ which is a flavor of the C++ language that utilizes both native API's and the .Net framework. Chris's background was predominantly UNIX based. In my mind a UNIX programmer thriving in this complex, mixed mode, environment indicates a person that has a fundamental understanding of the underlying principles of our profession. This type of versatility, in my mind, is very potent.
From a personality stand point it was apparent that Chris was well liked and respected. His leading of particular efforts here at Traffic is still spoken of in a favorable light. Personally I found him quite personable and generally enthusiastic about what he was doing.
