One of the first things I noticed about Usman is that he is not afraid to get outside of his comfort zone. As a technical person myself, I am continuously surprised as to how much Usman knows about technology compared to other non-technical people. His cross-functional attitude is definitely one of his strongest traits. Usman also does a very good job of modifying his approach from problem to problem.There is no "One-Size-Fits-All" solution in the world of business and Usman recognizes that. I was in charge of working with Usman at the Institute of Strategic Studies, which he joined as an intern. He worked for the US Aid Project at the institute, assisting the research team. His contribution was admirable, as were his working habits and ability to work in a team.
