As a Founder and Chief Code Therapist at FounderTherapy, Dana helps early stage startups bring their software products to market, implementing best practice software development processes, building agile software teams, and architecting scalable systems and infrastructures. He also helps founders and company leadership understand the necessary ingredients to create highly performant, resilient teams.
Dana is an advisor to a number of startups, including Work Market, ORGANIZE, VOIQ, Subblime, Librify, InterviewJet, and ClearServe. He's also a mentor for startups at Startupbootcamp SF.
Previously, Dana was the VP of Product and Engineering at Axial, which operates a membership-only network for qualified buyers and sellers of privately held businesses. Prior to Axial, he was Head of Product Development at OnForce (acquired by Adecco), where he created a number of patented technologies.
He's consulted for and worked at a number of early stage Internet startups, including FareChase (acquired by Yahoo!), OrderGroove, and Transparensee Systems. Also IBM and Scholastic.
Dana has BS in Brain and Cognitive Sciences/AI from MIT and an MS in Media Arts & Sciences from the MIT Media Lab.
In his spare time he is the Executive Director of NYCwireless, a non-profit that creates free, public Wi-Fi hotspots.
