Tania is a seasoned wealth management professional and experienced academic with a rare combination of institutional expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and a proven track record in financial education. She holds an MBA (Finance) and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, complemented by an exchange at HEC Paris, and a Professional Director Certification from Hawkamah (DIFC).
With over two decades of experience in private banking, Tania has advised Ultra High Net Worth individuals and family offices at leading regional and international financial institutions, serving in both Relationship Management and Investment Advisory capacities. As Business Development Manager at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC Authority)’s Family Wealth Centre, she played a pivotal role in building one of the region's most respected wealth ecosystems, earning the DIFC Authority Performance Award in 2023. Her role at the DIFC further deepened her expertise in family governance and succession planning.
Critically, Tania brings with her an extensive, high-trust network spanning UHNW families, family office principals, private banking professionals, regulators, advisers, and institutional partners across the region and beyond. This network, cultivated over years at the intersection of private banking, governance, and ecosystem development, positions her uniquely to anchor a family office initiative, attracting industry partnerships, practitioners, research collaborations, and UHNW families that few could replicate. She has a demonstrated ability to convene the right stakeholders and translate those relationships into structured, sustainable platforms.
Tania’s corporate training portfolio spans wealth management, ESG, cash flow modelling and valuations, as well as other finance topics delivered to both established global institutions and early-stage startups. She speaks at high-profile industry events (e.g. the CFA Society) and has served as a guest lecturer at ESCP Business School Paris. She has also designed and delivered the Private Banking course at the American University of Beirut and Université Saint-Joseph in the past, consistently achieving top student evaluations.
A committed entrepreneur, Tania has founded two ventures and actively mentors the next generation of business leaders through Ignyte (DIFC Authority, Dubai), BRINC, HEC Paris UK Alumni, the McGill Women's Alumnae Association, and previously the Dubai Business Women Council. She has served as a pre-jury member for the HEC Paris UK Alumni Start-up Launchpad.
Tania's multicultural background, having lived across three continents and speaking five languages, brings a global perspective essential to today's interconnected wealth management landscape.
