Stephen works closely with global media company executives in variety of media segments including Cable, Broadcast, Music, Publishing, Digital Media on addressing most important strategic business and growth topics. With more than 12 years experience of advising Fortune 500 and startup executive management Stephen developed broad industry/business experience and leadership, coupled with blend of strategic/analytical global consulting experience. He has directed engagements addressing issues of digital media distribution, multichannel strategy, market and product strategy, product development, business planning and development, and corporate strategy.
In his prior work, Stephen performed as an engagement manager with IBM Strategy and Transformation where he lead strategy engagement teams across communication industries including Telecom, Media and Entertainment, Energy and Utilities and Transportation. Prior to his work at IBM, Stephen held various posts at Sony Corporation, Sony Music Entertainment, and Sony BMG. In his last post as managing director of the Global Digital Media Services Group, Stephen managed P&L of a commercial digital media distribution offering enabling distribution and management of Video, Music, and Mobile content to more than 250 global media retail services. Stephen started his media career in a studio production environment, managing several high profile projects including MTV Unplugged and Live by Request series.
Stephen holds an MBA, with honors, in Finance and Strategic Management from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University and a B.S. with honors in Digital Commerce Management from New York University. Stephen is a frequent speaker to industry at events like the Henry Stewart Society.
