Satya built the first SAP CRM regional SWAT team at Singapore. This team was responsible to support the SAP APJ countries during all the phases of the customer engagement – presales, sales, implementation, partner enablement and enablement of support teams. Right from the introduction of the first SAP CRM release in the APJ market to achieving the #2 position in the market, Satya amply demonstrated his leadership qualities in no uncertain terms. He played a very important role to ensure adoption of this solution across the APJ region both by SAP Internal and Partner teams. His single minded commitment is unparalleled and his ability to go to great lengths (sleepless over many nights!) to ensure the success of a deal or a customer project, is legendary amongst people who know him well. His strong business and technical acumen, was hugely responsible to ignite passions across teams and deliver a successful solution in APJ. He can envision, plan and act both on strategy and operations at the same time with convenient ease and ensure that the details are not missed in pursuit of the overall objectives.
