Ryan is ahead of the power curve on early adoption of innovative tools and techniques. While he was at Duke Energy he researched innovation in Project Management and after discovering what the cutting edge was he went out and got some of it to manage the first ever in the US Engineering and Design of a Digital Distributed Control System fUpgrade for 4 nuclear plants. Ryan was a real leader in implementing Critical Chain in the Modification group and the results were that the 20 projects that comprise the Program averaged a 36% cycle time reduction.
