How to validate quality links for link building?

Given the fact that the URL you provided feels a bit like a squeeze page (highly focused sales landing page), I would be careful.

I've been working with organic SEO for over a decade and I put my days of linking building well behind me. I did this a few years ago and I'm very happy I did.

Instead of searching for link building opportunities, focus more on producing high quality content and growing your presence on social media. Make sure you share content across various social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google+ for B2B and Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram for B2C. If you do not have any strong images, then skip Pinterest and Instagram.

If you write educational content that is geared towards your target market and their needs, the links will come naturally.

This is a safe way of building links and one which will survive the test of time and future Google algorithm changes.

Is it possible to start a Social Media Marketing Agency with not much experience in Social Media and not much money?

If you are serious about launching a social media agency, take the time to learn the various networks before you engage with any clients.

There is a great deal of information available for free on social media best practices, so yes, you can learn about social media and be knowledgeable enough to help others.

Before you allow anyone to hire you, make sure you have the basics down. Watch, listen, learn and then start engaging.

Grow your social network so you have proof of your knowledge. Prospective clients will look at your profiles to see if you have followers, you are engaged, and you have authority.

Once you're comfortable take on a few pro bono clients to test your skills. That will not only teach you some things you may have missed, it will also help give you confidence to take on clients for real money.

What's new in the world of Online Marketing? Are there any new opportunities in this space to do something innovative?

I believe podcasting has yet to reach it's full potential. There are still a lot of people who are unaware of it or it's power.

Even people like me, who have been around the block more times than we want to admit, have been slow to jump into podcasting. Even as we know the usage rate of podcasts continue to grow.

Over the last six months I've started to appear on other people's podcasts as an expert and I've provided interviews. Since then I've started to download and listen to podcasts weekly.

I'm not alone and we will see increased usage in this medium.

How can I use wordpress database for my app?

You could use a plugin. AppPresser is a suite of WordPress plugins and theme that you install on your site, customize, then package into an app and submit to the app stores.

It has good reviews and it built by a team of very reputable and solid developers.

How can I improve the e-commerce portion of my brick and mortar store?

My suggestion would be to focus on some quality, organic SEO. Since your budget is limited, you can apply search engine optimization yourself and for limited funds. You just need to learn the ins and outs of SEO and apply it to your website and products one by one.

I'm creating a coaching course for my home-based-business team, which includes documents/vids/downloads. Does wordpress offer good templates for this?

We've used and created a number of stock WordPress themes that use LMS plugins. My favorite is LearnDash, which I feel is very solid and offers lots of functionality and features.

We used LearnDash on our own course site at https://www.diyseocourses.com. You can see an example of the LearnDash course page at https://www.diyseocourses.com/courses/online-seo-training/.

Our installation of LearnDash uses WooCommerce to sell the membership, however, our stock themes have been built using WooCommerce and iThemes Exchange. Both work great for integration and I've been very happy with all three plugins.

Can you refer me to an SEO GENIUS who can do both on-site and off-site SEO and G. Adwords? Must have proven track record of stellar results.

I have to concur with the other responders. It is really really hard to be an expert on all things.

The best SEO consultants will have areas of focus where they excel. They will know what these areas are and they will state them quickly.

When you run into a person who claims to be an expert in everything, you need to have reservations.

I've always stated that organic SEO is my strength and in particular, educating and helping clients set up a process that works long-term.

On the flip side, I openly state I know very little about PPC or any online advertising and that I cannot and will not provide assistance with those activities. I do this to protect myself and the client both.

The best consultants know their value and work to that end. And we back out when the requested task is not our strength.

Should I use my "personal" or "website brand" account to interact and build relationships with influencers/bloggers in my industry?

Without question, you need to brand and market both. It's an ongoing effort that will require effort, patience, and time.

I launched our firm in 2009 and at that time no one in the WordPress community new me or my agency. I started marketing the company first, but realized it was much easier to market myself as the face of the company.

Overtime I realized people respected the company and our work, but they related to me the person. The more I infused myself in our marketing efforts, the faster the company branding grew.

Bloggers and social media users in general will support and become brand ambassadors for the company, but they do so because they like the people behind it.

How do you make the inhouse vs outsource decision for SEO?

I'd recommend asking yourself and/or internal team two basic, but critical questions:

1. How up to date is the internal team on current SEO best practices and allowed tactics?

2. Does the internal team at all question their ability to execute successfully on SEO?

If the team is questionable on either answer, an outside SEO consultant should be considered. I've seen many websites get hurt by well intentioned internal marketers.

If these internal staff is up to date on SEO best practices, feels confident in their abilities, and has time to devote to the project, then they may be more then capable of executing successfully.

How to get a job as a Junior Front End Web Developer with no experience?

Spend time learning to code through online courses and by editing existing website templates. By viewing someone else's code and attempting to make changes to it, you'll learn the basics and if you pick the right website templates, you'll also learn best practices along the way.

Once you know the basics, start creating websites and build up your portfolio. Even if the websites are just for practice, create something.

I receive a lot of resumes from WordPress developers and the very first thing I look at is their portfolio. If I like what I visually see, I pass on the websites onto my senior level coders and have them review the code.

Only then do I consider the person for a position within our agency.

Any agency will need to see something you've created before truly considering your resume or application as a viable option.
