MenuBest Email Marketing Platform - send on specified dates
I need to send an email each week to my list in advance of an astrological event. I have a spreadsheet of hundreds of dates and times and I want the email to go out exactly 24 hours prior to the specified time. What is the best email marketing platform to do this? I don't want to have to select the year, month, day, time, timezone, etc from a dropdown list for each one. Is there a platform where I can copy/paste the data from the spreadsheet? I have been using a primitive (and free) mail merge option so far where the automation is great, but I need to make the emails look more professional.

For your email marketing needs, several platforms offer robust automation features that allow you to schedule emails based on specific dates without the hassle of manual input. Mailchimp is a popular choice that enables you to set up automated campaigns triggered by dates in your audience data. You can easily import your spreadsheet and use the dates to initiate emails, plus it provides professional-looking templates to enhance your messages. Another strong option is ActiveCampaign, which allows for date-based automations and offers customizable fields for easy importing. It also provides a variety of professional email designs. Sendinblue supports advanced scheduling and CSV imports, enabling you to automate emails based on the date fields from your list while also offering responsive templates. ConvertKit is another viable choice, providing tagging and automation features based on dates, along with clean, minimalist email designs. Lastly, GetResponse allows for date-based automation and easy spreadsheet imports, along with various customizable templates. For your specific needs, ActiveCampaign or Sendinblue might be the best options, as they offer advanced date-based automation with user-friendly interfaces and professional templates. To get started, export your spreadsheet into a compatible format like CSV, sign up for a trial of the selected platform, import your contacts and date information, and set up your automation to send emails 24 hours before the specified times. This will help you achieve timely and professional communication with your audience.
I have been using Constant Contact. They have plans where you can schedule emails by day and time. The company is extremely credible and they have lots of events you can attend to learn about email marketing. You can create templates or use your own. You can even import PDF's.They even have a plan for resending emails to non-openers
You can use Brevo or other SMTP email service provider
I completely understand where you're coming from. I also want my email communications to be efficient and professional, especially when dealing with specific dates and times. For my needs, I found that using an email marketing platform like Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign could be really beneficial. They allow for automation and can handle custom data imports from spreadsheets quite well.
With Mailchimp, for example, you can import your list directly without needing to select each date and time manually from dropdowns. Instead, you can set up an automation to trigger the emails exactly 24 hours before the specified events in your spreadsheet. ActiveCampaign offers similar functionality with a focus on automation and better customization for email design, which might help in achieving that professional look you're aiming for.
I recommend checking if these platforms allow you to format your email templates according to your branding needs, as this could definitely elevate the professionalism of your communications. It might take some initial setup, but in the long run, it'll save us both a lot of time and effort!
It depends on your need. If you want an advanced automation tailored to the specific needs of e-commerce, I will advice you to use Klaviyo. We are launching a white label platform on Goodsie targeting small/medium size design/devs firms. Any ideas on where to start our marketing efforts?
The 1st thing you should do it to identify 100 potential customers from your group to approach them and to offer them to use the platform to test it out. These people will not only give you feedback on how to improve it but also will give you testimonials for your website. The next thing to do (when you have the testimonials) is build some landing pages and to run some Google AdWords. Do some A/B testing and test different value propositions. I recommend adding some retargeting to your site so you don't lose visitors forever. When you have tested out which keywords work best, you cans tart investing more in SEO. It will take time to rank well but it's worth to start doing it early. Focus on content marketing that is related to your product and at the same time attracts and educates your target audience. Use ebook and webinars to generate leads and engage your audience. Don't forget to focus on blogging. That is really important in your type of business. Share your content on social media during the day. Use followerwonk to know when to share on Twitter and run some tests to figure out the best time for Facebook and Google+. Find influencers in your industry and connect with them online. These people will make the difference in your business. I believe in the first months you should focus on: 1. Getting feedback about your product 2. Generating leads through PPC, SEO, content marketing and social media. 3. Using your first users feedback to generate some publicity If you're looking for a more in-depth strategy for your business, don't hesitate to schedule a call for me. What is Drip Marketing? I'm looking for case studies or real life examples of how effective it is a strategy for user retention.
Drip marketing (aka. drip emails, or lead nurturing) is often used by modern marketers to nurture their leads through the sales funnel. As others have mentioned the idea is to gain brand awareness and influence buyers through a regular series of targeted and relevant content or offers. Typically for top of the funnel activities you might offer something like a general whitepaper or something which describes the overall business problems that your prospects might be feeling. From there you can use a marketing automation tool to send through additional material or reminders periodically depending on how your prospects engage with you. The idea at the end of the day is to reduce that amount of direct time that a sales rep spends closing any deal by ensuring that leads have shown sufficient buying signals and are ready to purchase.SH

I sell an actual item worn by women, mostly middle-aged. Need to strengthen our conversion rate. Which social media is best for this age group?
I've found that with the saturation of retail on social media sites in general, the best way to make a sale is to target the right people who are already looking for what you offer... For you: I'd recommend using highly targeted Facebook Ads (Target by age & gender plus any other things you know about your audience/buyers in terms of things they are interested in). You might also research companies who provide holistic relief for hot flashes, find their facebook pages and create a filter for your ads to target fans of theirs. You could see a HUGE return on just $100 Facebook ad buy. Good Luck and let me know if you'd like to schedule a follow up call; I'd be happy to walk you through the setup and some additional strategies!MH
