MenuWhat's the best way to generate leads on Instagram for local business?
I'm looking to expand the lead generation funnels we create for chiropractors and wondering what success others have had with geo-location liking, commenting, following for local businesses.

Engaging and communicating with your prospects is a sure way to build rapport and increase brand awareness in your local area.
For a chiropractor, returning clients are typically the largest revenue stream. I would focus on reaching out to past clients and provide a compelling offer to get them in for another visit.
If you are seeking to build new business, I highly recommend that you consider paid social initiatives (aka running Facebook ads). With a proper Facebook ad campaign targeting the right people, with the right message, at the right time, you are in a great position to quickly generate leads.

Yes these are all good, engagement is never bad. But also consider using your existing customer base. A contest to generate traffic within sphere of influence businesses (if you have none host/attend local events and connect w/ IG. I find that location tools, tracking and etc. are most useful when you have an existing pool to start with, connect dots and show ratings/reviews Hope this helps. Much success to you!

The best way to generate leads using Instagram for a local chiro is to use a direct response offer in and Instagram Ad through the Facebook Ads platform. Happy to show you a few of ours via screenshare if you like!

Set up and optimize the profile with a lead gen in the bio/ post content with practical tips/ how to's / entertaining and educating videos - make that content visible to their target demo through relevant hashtags/ consider partnering with chamber etc-- optimize posts for engagement by asking questions and using Instagram stories to preview content on main page - engagement and auto liking content comes way after-- I think of Instagram as a party... bots as promoters-- if the content strategy isn't in place the bots can promote and spam all they want... the like to follow ratio will still be awful.

Instagram can be an INCREDIBLE lead generation platform if used effectively!
A few things to consider:
1. Make sure to use hashtags that your potential audience would be using. One of most common mistakes I see on IG is a business using hashtags that their competitors are using (i.e. other chiropractors).
For instance, someone with low back pain will not be using #chiro, but rather #fitness #health and #crossfit - insert CrossFit injury joke here :)
2. Make sure to geo-locate with likes/comments and even go a step further by engaging with your competitors' audiences... essentially borrow their audience by
3. Share ONLY great content and give your IG audience a reason to follow your account. Make sure your profile picture, bio, and gallery is clear with a theme and consistent brand.
4. This may sound basic but MAKE SURE you have a strong call-to-action in your bio. Just because they're not your customer now, doesn't mean they won't be later! Make sure to capture name/e-mail from an opt-in on your website where you're giving something away.
You want to establish TOMA (top of the mind awareness) so that WHEN someone needs a chiro, it may be months after they first engaged with your account, you're the first one they think of.
Hope you find these helpful! If you need help or want a team to take care of all of this for you (creating/posting content, engagement, etc), one of my businesses offers just that: www.instaboost.org.
Happy holidays.

Check the location of the offices close by to you and main sights in your cities (where tourists go)
Visit the profile of the people that posted something in that location, follow them and like 2 of their pictures. Of course, don’t follow and like people that post stuff that you merely evidently dislike.
The person that you’ve just followed and liked will receive a notification from you. Many times will say “Oh, what’s this restaurant that just liked my picture.”
A tourist might say: “Wow, this restaurant looks great on its profile, I’m free tonight I’ll go there to eat while I’m here.”
The people that work closeby are even better because their long-term value as a customer it’s much higher as if your service returns they’ll return, and possibly refer to other coworkers and friends.
Imagine you’re at work, hungry because you were in a hurry in the morning and you didn’t have breakfast, you go quickly on Instagram while you're sure your boss is not checking you, and see that the restaurant that you always pass by has just followed you and like your picture. The chance he will enter and eat at your please will be very high, or at least much higher!

Local social marketing: best marketing strategy to bring leads to a local Chiropractic business through facebook ads/facebook landing page?
I own / operate physical therapy clinics in the Denver Metro area and have been effectively generating leads and generating new patients online for the last 3 years. And the cost of acquisition is surprisingly low (from as little as $0 if you do some of the things in-house to less than $100 for the cost of acquisition). Though I can't say what your results might be - I have had no success with Facebook (ads or landing page) regarding new client acquisition. If you are interested to learn what works for my business, give me a call to discuss.

Any ideas on helping local businesses get more people to leave a review?
Four years ago, I started a local daily deal site which grew to the largest in East TN & Southwest VA. In that period, we pivoted by learning how to solve the digital marketing problems of the restaurants and spas we featured on our site. I have a number of tips for you on this. First, most small merchants will be lost and not truly see the value of SEO and citations. Those are long term efforts without short term results. Even then, the results are not tangible, at least not readily visible to the owner of a store. Reviews however are an immediate pain point - and also a quickly solved problem. So I use this as the way to prove value upfront to our clients. In fact, I have yet to pitch our marketing program to a small business owner and get a "no" since I began my emphasis on Reputation Management. Why? Because normally only disenchanted customers leave reviews. And the negative reviews seem to personally affect the ego of the business owner (as they should). Especially because they can massively affect bottom-line revenue, especially now in light of new developments and agreements between the search engines and the review sites. Reviews directly power search to a large degree. Feel free to reach out to me if you want to talk specific cases - I have found that the pain points and need are the same across almost all industries (hospitality, food service, medical, etc).

What are the best growth hacking tactics for local businesses?
Hello, I myself do not have much hands on experience with growth hacking , but I can offer some thoughts on the subject. I'm not quite sure what you're looking for in terms of your question though? Are you looking for ideas or methods for growth using the growth hacker mentality for local brick and mortar businesses? Are you looking to bring these brick and mortar businesses online and increasing their lead captures? If I were to take a local photography service and try to increase growth in a local area there would be a couple of things I would focus on when it comes to growth hacking. The first thing I would look at is the actual product that is being offered. Then I would see if I could use the product itself to increase growth for itself. Make sense? What is the product of the photographer? I would think that the product would be the photos produced. So I would then figure out how I could use the photos to increase the photo shoots done with my photography studio. One way to do this may be to offer some sort of deal to people that share the photos on social media and get their friends and family to sign up. If I were the photographer I would tell my customers that if their friends and family like and comment on my Facebook page about their photos I would give their friends and family a free 8x10 photo on their first shoot. If 10 of their friends sign up for a shoot I would then give my original customer some sort of thank you in the form of free prints or something similar that makes sense for the business. Use the product to market itself. Another thing I would be looking at is the distribution of my product. In the local scene I feel that online directories, live events, local media, and forming business partnerships are critical. If I were a local photographer I would be at as many local events as possible taking photos. I would then place these photos online where they could be viewed and purchased. I do offer consulting in the area of local marketing and would love to chat with you in more detail about what you are looking to achieve. Schedule a time to talk. I'm sure we can come up with some great actionable ideas that can help with lead generation.

What are some breakthrough marketing strategies to grow and scale a local business?
Great question - local marketing is absolutely essential nowadays. Especially as few people are navigating social media looking for tooth whitening services, these will become more profitable than online over time. Here's a quick list of tools I suggest using to bolster your current social media work. 1 - Set up Google My Business account and get it address-verified (they mail you a code) 2 - Key words - ensure city/ town / suburb / state or county are all included in meta data 3 - Directory listings - Get yourself listed on free and paid sites. If you can afford a small spend www.brightlocal.com is worthwhile 4 - Use Facebook local targeting for advertising / brand building 5 - Set up Google Alerts for key phrases in the news that could allow you to comment / contact / build a mailing list 6 - Join the local Business Associations and contact all the relevant local business members 7 - Go to Networking events (BNI, Chamber of Commerce, Meetup.com, Eventbrite) 8 - get happy customers to write Testimonials on Google My Business, Also reproduce them on your website 9 - Use media relations to get articles in local newspaper, local radio, local newsletters, (check out Yahoo Groups for local lists) 10 - Ask for Referrals - by sending two business cards with your invoice 11 - Make specific requests for social sharing via your accounts 12 - Surprise and delight the customer - e.g. pay it forward - you pay to have your teeth whitened and I give a free treatment each month to a deserving individual and use that for publicity. I hope that gives you a load of great ideas to be getting on with. But if you'd like specific coaching on what to do for this client - get in touch. You can buy 30 minutes of my time and I'll add to this.

What are some tips for finding non-generic hashtags on Instagram?
I'd recommend defining what type of art you are seeking to find on Instagram. For example, optical art is a specific type of art. After some searching on Instagram, I was able to find #opart, which focuses on this particular type of artwork. To become more noticed on Instagram, I'd recommend finding a niche. Instead of creating an Instagram account about art, a better strategy would be to create an account about a specific type of art such as optical illusion artwork. The more specific you are about your niche, the better you are positioned to grow on the Instagram platform.
