MenuHow do I get companies to speak to me about how to increase minority vendors in their businesses?
Companies say they embrace minority participation but I could tell you horror stories and I just don't understand if a company really wants to make money.

A lot of people see still see diversity as a Nice to Have, rather than something that affects their bottomline. Although most coverage and research have been done primarily by niche market groups, even McKinsey early in 2015 put out this big report, touting real data: http://www.mckinsey.com/insights/organization/why_diversity_matters. If you'd like to discuss diversity hiring practices through various stages, shoot me a call!
I understand your challenges, clients I speak to especially out in the Midwest are slow to adopt these kinds of policies. I think the better way - and I'd be happy to hop on a call for this - is for you to be a consultant to the minority vendor themselves, and train them in marketing and niche positioning strategies. Let's talk about this!
Best,
Arjun.

What is the best software integration to solve our growing company's brand strategy communication needs?
I am not sure that I understood your question entirely but based on my interpretation I would suggest taking a deep look at Teamwork. (https://www.teamwork.com/) Teamwork is a software platform designed to help organize a company and help it manage tasks and projects. The Teamwork package consists of 3 products. Teamwork Chat - This similar to slack minus a few features. Teamwork Chat includes a direct integration with the rest of the Teamwork system. This allows members of your company to communicate in real-time, create rooms, and share project details all in a permanently recorded environment. Teamwork Desk - This is a great ticketing system that allows external parties to have tracked email communication with reps. This may be the avenue where you deposit incoming inquiries. Your brand management reps could get the inquiry via desk and then turn it into a variety of tasks for various departments in Teamwork Projects. As tasks are completed they can use Teamwork Desk to communicate back to the customer. This software includes a portal where these reps can log-in and see their entire account/request history with the organization and a help desk that would allow you to create self service help docs for your products/services/store if necessary. Teamwork Projects - Teamwork Projects is a project management software that allows you to create users, departments, and even allow client access into the system. You can develop projects, tasks, timelines, and calendars based on those elements. You can easily send tasks into Teamwork projects from desk and then route communication back to desk as projects are completed. Overall, it sounds like this would be a great combination of tools to help you manage your products and brand. I am not a representative of the company nor do I get paid for this recommendation, in fact, I pay them as a user and I use these tools to accomplish something very similar at my company. They have some great videos. Check it out and see if it would be a good fit.RS

I'm a consultant in the US. How do I attract and sell myself to talented remote web and graphic designers as someone great to work for?
Hi there, I've built and scaled 3 management consulting businesses to $1M+ in the past 5 years. I'm a little unsure as to what your problem is. Are you wanting to help designers with their business or are you trying to hire talented designers to complete some work? For really good designers, their desire is to do quality work, with clients they like and be compensated well for it. If you have a proven methodology or process that helps them get those types of clients you'll be off the races. But, you have to communicate clearly the specific problem you address for them. So if they are a landscape designers you can say "With my program and coaching we will get you in front of architects and seen as the go-to expert who does awesome work." Does that make sense?AV

What resources should I utilize when finding tech recruiters and HR personnel?
The easiest way would probably be to join a recruiter clack group (e.g. https://weirdlyhub.com/peoplepeople-slack-community-recruiters-hr/) and reach out to people there. You could also do a search on LinkedIn for: 'recruiter', and if you have a particular geographic area you want to focus on just include that in the search too. Reaching out to the people you find on those platforms can be done in a couple different ways, and the best one will depend on what it is you're trying to communicate or ask. If you'd like more specific advice relevant to your particular product or service, feel free to send along further information, best, LeeLV

Where can I find gender and diversity information about a company's board members?
Hi If you don't want to go to each website individually, the only other method I can think of would be to find other reports already made which cover gender inequality in corporations and collect the information from there. But if you want something that keeps being updates and is accurate, the bets would be to write a script (code) that would check the relevant page of each company every few months. Yes, it would be a lot of work finding all the pages in the beginning, but afterwards at least the updates would be automatic. I know a guy who writes great scripts if you need. Good luck I've successfully helped over 350 entrepreneurs, startups and businesses, and I would be happy to help you. After scheduling a call, please send me some background information so that I can prepare in advance - thus giving you maximum value for your money.
