MenuI have a facebook group with over 6000 members. It is a lot of admin-work. How can I make profit out of this group?
it is a photography group in switzerland called "schweizer fotografen". I already display ads for workshops and photo travel.

There are different ways that you can make a profit from a Facebook group. The key is to understand your audience and know what type of services/products they would be interested in.
You can charge businesses or companies that are looking to target that specific audience a flat fee and post their products/services on their behalf.
You can add affiliate links for products or services that are relevant to your audience and earn commissions on the sales/leads generated from those links.
You can sell advertising on a CPC basis.
Etc...
Depending on the level of skill of the group members, I would try some affiliate offers from Clickbank. I have done some Facebook advertising of affiliate offers and I have found that photography courses and foreign language courses convert pretty well. In your position, where you have authority already as group admin, you should be able to convert a much higher percentage than I would using adverts. Look for a good course that has "rebilling" for recurring monthly compensation
In addition to the answers you've already received, I would suggest utilizing an Amazon affiliate account and pointing your audience to "great deals" on photography related equipment and resources.
This way you are staying consistent with the theme of your group and you are simply adding value by making the group aware of things they could benefit from.
I suggest creating a paid Facebook group and charging members a monthly membership fee.
You don't even need it to be too many people- target a membership of around 300 when you get started.
Create great content and offer inside info around your core topic. Interview experts, set up AMAs on the private Facebook group, have weekly accountability threads- basically any information that will improve the members' skills. Often you won't even have to rack your brain- your members will tell you what they want the most.
Keep engagements level high and slowly open the gates as you see people getting value out of the group.
To ease your admin burdens you can appoint a few managers in the paid group, and give them a share of the revenue.

What is the difference between #topics and precise interests when choosing audience on Facebook ads?
Topic targeting is a broad way of targeting people who've expressed interest in that topic or "related topic". It's a good option if you want to create awareness, do branding or generate likes. But when your end goal is sales/leads - it's good to go for precise interests as that's like exact match - and it ensures that you're reaching only those people which you're actually targeting - not related ones.KS

My sales funnel is only performing well on ads from Facebook's similar lookalike custom audience. However, the reach is below 200k. How do I scale it?
I don't know if you have tried this yet, but sometimes having a lookalike custom audience that is 99% similar doesn't always preform better than the lookalike audience that is 97% similar. If I were you I would go through AB test each of the different lookalike audiences, so try 99% vs 98% vs 97% vs 96% vs 95% and see if the less similar audiences will still give you good results, because they should also have a larger audience group for you to market towards. Also have you AB tested interest groups? I'm not sure what your exact niche is but i've worked on campaigns where certain interest groups preformed better than the lookalike audiences. If you're spending a decent amount of money on Facebook ads, having a professional go through and AB test your ads can be a very good idea. It's the difference between having a good ad & knowing you have a perfect ad.KC

Why do sales from my Facebook ads only happen the first few days?
Thank you for sharing this question! The sales usually happen when the ads first run because Facebook knows who the most likely buyers are and once the ads have shown once, you are likely reaching the same people over and over. The ad campaigns I have found that make the best sales are in the format of a post on a page with a lot of social proof. If your ads do not have social proof, then only the early adopters will buy. If your ads have thousands of likes, shares, and comments from a post on your page, then you can count on mainstream sales. If you want to chat more about Facebook ads, you are welcome to schedule a call!JB

What will happen if I bid lower than the recommended price for Facebook ads?
It's actually very smart to do it the way you are doing it. We do this all the time and have tested it extensively. What you want to do is to see if your ad is getting enough "reach" at the 20 cent click level. Reach is the amount of times your ad is shown. If there aren't many others bidding, you can bid pretty low and still get lots of reach. However, if your ad isn't getting shown much, you'll know that you should raise your ad price. Make sure you also test using Optimized CPM versus paying for clicks as well. Hope that helps.PG

Local social marketing: best marketing strategy to bring leads to a local Chiropractic business through facebook ads/facebook landing page?
I own / operate physical therapy clinics in the Denver Metro area and have been effectively generating leads and generating new patients online for the last 3 years. And the cost of acquisition is surprisingly low (from as little as $0 if you do some of the things in-house to less than $100 for the cost of acquisition). Though I can't say what your results might be - I have had no success with Facebook (ads or landing page) regarding new client acquisition. If you are interested to learn what works for my business, give me a call to discuss.DB
