I have learned sales from scratch at Mixcloud - learning, hiring, training, developing processes, trying out and implementing tools, tracking and understanding KPIs/metrics... all of this to build a more effective, efficient and predictable sales machine.
Cofounder of Internet radio platform Mixcloud, which I have helped bootstrap over the past 5 years from a couple of guys in a warehouse in Wembley, London to the world's biggest community of DJs and curators, reaching well over 10 million people a month.
I have also done a ton of mentoring and advising to other startups, helping with areas such as vision/positioning, concept development, differentiation, pitch narrative/pitch deck refinement, go to market strategy, consumer insight and business model refinement.
Mixcloud is the best, and Nikhil deserves a lot of praise for that. When we first signed up we had some issues and complications. I reached out for help and it was Nikhil himself who guided me through the set-up process and helped me work out all the kinks. He personally followed up with me numerous times to make sure everything was working okay and to see if there was anything else he could do.
