I have known Nate over the past several years and worked with him on several projects while enrolled at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Nate was a student in three of my economics courses at UNO. One was a principles course and the other two were seminars, attended mainly by graduate students. Nate did very well in all three courses. Nate was one of my favorite students, not just because he did well, but because he seriously thought about, and asked questions about, the substantive issues that we were discussing. More broadly, in my dealings with him, I have observed Nate to be a polite, conscientious and decent human being.
