I have been working on YouTube full time for over 8 Years.

My largest channel at the moment is at around 730,000k Subscribers, projected to hit 1 million in a few short months.

What if one of the founders has to move somewhere else?

Don't see this as a negative its actually a positive. It can be difficult for companies to grow in different countries but having a person there can be really beneficial. Especially when it comes to needed access to US bank accounts or Services. Most of the online Market is in the US, so this is plus's all round. Just be sure his stack is smaller in that you don't have to run past all your decisions with him. Chances are because his a coder he would rather play a more technical role anyway

These companies work in the same field as Android Mobile -

The Operating System is the same, but the hardware is different amongst users. Unless your game is for an IPhone - You need as many beta users as you can get to make sure you can work out all bugs across multiple types of hardware.

Best way to do this is set a Set time registration - 5 days open for the Beta - the more you get the better but here is the secret - you need to get the Beta testers involved - create a community - This has so many benefits

for example you can save months in costs related to testing - as you literally have people working for you for free.
Working together they will provide you a huge insight into what you can improve on and if you actively engage with them they will stay by your side as you complete the app. They will feel like they played an important part in the application and will want to share their work with everyone they know.

Social Marketing - I know it goes without saying that social marketing will be talked about. But I think its important to stress what exactly they should be doing with it. So many people think social marketing means having a facebook page, a twitter page or pinterest and have no idea how to actually use these services to grow their brand and build a community around their product.

What are some great strategies to launch a successful mobile dev shop?

First thing you need to get your portfolio completed, and make sure there is something recognizable.

these sites are full of outsourced teams that do the same work cheaper - but at a rubbish quality

Freelancers from the US are regarded as premium rate and premium quality simply from being from the US. Another Option would be to partner with a quality outsourced company that has a strong portfolio ie making apps for companies like Mc Donalds - and have them be the source behind your development. I have a couple of contacts that would probably be perfect for that actually - they don't cost the same as typical outsourced companies but the quality speaks for itself.

Once you have the portfolio, a small design team working on Mock Ups is all you need to get your sales.

What are some of the different marketplace monetization models for selling second-hand collectibles?

Services like Ebay and Amazon steal so much of your revenue in listing fees and selling fees that it can make it very difficult for your business to succeed. However there is a reason that they can charge you, and that is because of the marketing of users they have. Unless you have the traffic it can be difficult to get your products out there.

In your case of second hand collectiables - I would look at sites like WIX or Bandzoogle - that for a monthly set fee $20 you an use their templates to create your site. The massive bonus being that you can upload as many products for sale as you want and they wont even take a cent of your sales.

But this doesn't resolve your problem of traffic - there a number of strategies you could implement, the first I think would be using social media to connect with very targeted users. Directing your marketing to your target market is a key to success.

What are the most important steps to take to get a lot of qualified traffic to a new website as quickly as possible?

As the others have mentioned you can always pay for advertising but this is a tricky process, there must be a million companies willing to take your money for "traffic" but there is so much more that is involved.

Targeted Traffic is what you need. Who is your target market, how old are they, where are they located, how much is in their income, and so on.

If you know your target market you can be more specific in how you direct traffic towards them. Once you have all that then you can either find a reputable company and set your monthly marketing budget or you can go the social marketing.

This will depend if you are online or not, and what it is your services do. There are a number of ways to build up traffic to a website but there are only a few ways to build up effective reoccurring traffic that will grow your business and your brand.

What is the best way to approach beta testing a mobile fitness app when it is launched in the app store?

Wow, I can see what you envision for your app and I must say its a great concept, different from most fitness apps.

I don't think any hospitals will be providing any patients information (privacy) also its the wrong target market

- you want to target the Fitness Trainers - Similar to a social network for fitness trainers - that their clients can follow and say up to date with.

Tailor it to the fitness trainers as a way to show their photos, build clients, and book and organize their appointments.

Think about it like ths - Every personal trainer you get on the app - the more they will have their clients download and use the application. This will be the key to success. If you want to use a clever trick to build up users - provide PRO features in the app that the trainer can only unlock when they have 20+ Users sign up to their account. This will heavily encourage them to get your app more users

How do you handle an employee that's proving to be a poor culture fit?

Your Team will have a direct impact on whether or not you will succeed as a business.

I know exactly how hard it can be, especially when peoples lives are in your hands. Even more so if you outsource, outsourcing might seem cheap by our standards but that money goes a long way overseas, so usually one employee is paying for their entire family back home in their village.

But you as a boss have a responsibility to all your staff, each one of them relies on you and a poor employee that lets the team down, is letting the company down and putting every at risk.

Selecting your team is one of the most important parts of any startup

You have not only invested your money, but your time and your life. If someone has getting in the way of that, and you have given them every opportunity to improve. You cant feel bad, you need to remove them and rehire. When you have the right person you will know. A motivated and hardworking employee will work for the business and not for their pay check.

I want to invest (buy) online business but I lack expertise in running/owning one. I am looking for partners. Where can I meet them (online/offline)?

It really depends on two Main things, the first being what is the online business, and the second is what is the attitude of the owner.

You want to invest less than 100k per investment, and want the original owner to continue the work.

The online world is a completely different one to the brick and mortar one. Experience in running online businesses is something that only comes with endless hours trying to build an online brand.

My recommendation would be find the Niches or Products that you really believe in. Check out their website and their company history. It only takes a little bit of research to find out who is behind an online business. Then its as simple as making an offer for a share of the business revenue.

Another option would be to look for automated online businesses, there will be a lot of them, that make a regular income through a product or service. Calculate the return you want and purchase one of them.

However, if you want a partner that will be working on the business you need to find someone that is really passionate about what they are doing. Only those people have the motivation to keep going when things are going against them.
