I've been working remotely for 4+ years and currently manage a team that went from 2 to 15+ remote employees. I believe remote work is the way of the future but it comes with many challenges when trying to run and grow an organization. You must hire right, know when and how to reward and replace and must monitor and cultivate culture as well as results. I love to help give owners and leadership teams the processes and best practices for leading remote teams and ensuring accountability and profitability.
Over the past 5 years I have managed and/or hired close almost 50 employees/contractors with my small business/ownership roles. I've found hiring is a challenge for small businesses and startups, first off because there isn't enough time in the day to keep operations going and try to fill open seats. I have learned several ways to quickly determine if you're making the right hiring or promotion choice. I have used a personality test to help grow and build teams and it's a great way to give you the confidence that you have the right person in the right seat.
