Put simply, I love starting with a blank sheet of paper and ending with a working solution that changes people's lives.
Building on the solid engineering fundamentals taught from Oxford University, I’ve led technology discovery, product development and unlocked growth in global organisations. More recently I’ve transitioned to work within fast growth start-ups, including founding my own company, huru, a health-tech start-up allowing novel neurofeedback to solve some of the world’s biggest health challenges.
Throughout my career I have enjoyed overcoming challenges through working with and leading diverse teams. Delivering projects to demanding private and public sector clients, bringing new technologies and products to market within multinational companies, and building operational capabilities to accelerate growth within fast growing start-ups.
In 2021 I joined the executive team of Ember, an $80m annual revenue US start-up. In my role I was responsible for half of the organisation leading the operations, research and technology functions. Throughout my time there I led new technology development in the US, starting up a new technology office in Singapore and transitioned the manufacturing to new suppliers in China and Mexico, whilst launching 18 new products. The fast paced, global, challenging and autonomous nature of the role suited me well. After 2 years at Ember I was inspired to start my own start up and co-founded huru, a purpose led organisation on a mission to unlock better brain health.
In everything I do, I’ve found that marrying insight into human behaviour, with immersion into engineering realities (and no fear of hard work) leads to innovation, excitement and excellence.
