Inês is a 24-year old entrepreneur who has been globally recognized for her work as a startup accelerator and community builder. Despite her young age, she is the co-founder of multiple successful startup initiatives, including StartupX, Trojan Horse was a Unicorn, Startup Pirates, and Startup Tour. She is also an avid TEDx organizer, a Sandbox Portugal Ambassador and one of the youngest ever graduates of Singularity University.
Inês is on a mission to help entrepreneurs and startups grow beyond their wildest dream. In 2012 she co-founded StartupX, a non-profit organization, to multiply the market and social impact of entrepreneurs and startups around the world. As part of this program, she has launched 3 initiatives: Startup Pirates, Startup Tour and Startup Exchange Program. Startup Pirates is a one-week community driven acceleration program for entrepreneurs in the making which in less than 2 years spread to over 17 countries on 3 continents, created 53 startups, enabled 90 new jobs and received extensive recognition from governments and the media. Startup Tour is a 3 day program designed to provide access to the best startup ecosystems. The Startup Exchange Program is a mentor driven exchange program designed to scale-up startups, enabling startups from across the globe to come to Europe and make their mark.
Inês is also involved in the TED community as a passionate TEDx organizer, in the Sandbox Network as an Ambassador for Portugal and Global Shapers as a member for Lisbon. Inês is also an alumna of the Singularity University Graduate Studies Program.
