If you launch a product to a few different countries, does it make sense to do usability testing in all those different countries?

The context is important. For a physical product where launching might mean a licensing deal with a distributor, a usability study or trail period would already probably be part of the distribution.

For example. Companies that do business internationally would have many products on their catalogue but would not necessarily sell all of them in all countries.

If however you launch a product, I would start in one country, build momentum and then look at the next country, find distributor's that already has a track record in the field you are trying to enter.
