Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, grew up in Los Angeles, CA, Mr. Kusuma possesses Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Kusuma has proven track records executing cost reduction initiatives while maintaining the highest level of safety, quality, cost performance, profit margin and customer satisfaction. Mr. Kusuma’s core competencies include performance management, team building, financial acumen, strategic oversight, creative solution, process re-engineering, lean enterprise, budget management, and negotiation.
Influenced by Indonesia’s positive economic outlook; Mr. Kusuma moved to Indonesia in 2010 and has been residing there. Mr. Kusuma is currently involved with micro, small and medium enterprises in Indonesia to launch new ventures, raise capital, lead merger & acquisition, define business strategies, develop new markets, streamline business operations, and reduce operational costs in industry sectors such as mining, agriculture, waste management, information technology, oil & gas, manufacturing, and food & beverage.
With the knowledge of good business practices and ethics of Indonesia and the Western worlds, Mr. Kusuma also acts as the business bridge for international companies and investors expanding to Indonesia to mitigate risk, familiarize the local business culture, explore the market, find business partners, and establish portfolios.
