Drew also has a unique understanding of the sales cycle and combined with outstanding technical capabilities make him ideal team member or leader for any sales engineering or product marketing team.
Drew was instrumental in closing a $1M deal at a major retailer by incorporating product knowledge, technical integration and implementation, and interpersonal skills along the entire sales cycle from the initial call to successful implementation. Especially impressive was his ability to instill confidence in the customer with a solution that wasn't currently available and only in the initial development stage. To sell a deal of this size, especially with no solution to show the customer, is a true test of his abilities.
I have worked with Andrew for three years in various roles. He has a knowledge of the product and presentation skills that made him a great SE and an understanding of the data security market that made for a smooth transition into Product Management. He's always willing to lend a hand to me in Sales, get out in the field to get a sense for the market, or to work patiently with customers to address their current and future data security needs.
It was good working with Drew while at Ingrian. His enthusiasm and energy helped get things done and he always had great ideas when it came to discussing possible implementations of the technology with an ability to think outside the box.
Drew is amazing. I'm not sure how he does it. He juggles, engages and executes at the highest levels. His superior product knowledge and execution on strategy puts him light years above anyone else.
